Daniel Craig will be retiring soon as James Bond. The following hunks are rumored to replace him. Who among them is your bet? Who do you think is the most ideal 007 contender?
Aidan Turner
Though he is deemed as still too young to take over the Bond mantle, his charisma, talent, and potential is quite hard to ignore. He may not be as popular as the other contenders on this list but he has already proven to be capable in a variety of roles which range from being midievalistic, to being a romanticist, and to being supernatural. When given the chance to play the iconic MI6 superspy, who knows what Aidan has in store to the fans of the franchise?
Damian Lewis
His English nationality may already be considered as a birthright claimer of the James Bond role, though that doesn’t mean he really can. What makes him suitable is the fact that he has played some military roles in his career which he did to great critical and mass acclaim. He is not only credible for gun-totting roles though. He is also an accomplished actor outside action roles as evidenced by his appointment as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for his services to drama.
James Norton
Currently unfit to be James Bond as he is more suitable for younger and gentler roles, he could be your ideal James Bond for the new generation. It is undeniable that choosing the next actor is quite very challenging for producers and directors. Such people should highly consider James Norton as many fans believe that he has the appeal that the worldwide audience is unknowingly looking for. When given the chance to be the next 007 titleholder, he may eventually prove that Mr. Bond can be portrayed by a younger actor who’s physically more able and wittier than the older, more experienced ones.
Sam Worthington
James Bond is a man forged in action and romance, and guess what? Sam Worthington as an actor is very adept in such genres. Having starred in various action and romantic movies, he has garnered enough experience already and is actually at the right age to play the much-coveted role. He actually auditioned for the role but lost it to Daniel Craig a decade ago. Now that he has proven himself in hugely successful movies, he could be the next 007, one that we will be ogling at in cinemas for the years to come.
Hugh Jackman
Having played popular characters that are known for impaling and brutalizing evil entities, Hugh Jackman is by default, a very good 007 contender. Mr. Bond must have a good physique, Hugh has it. Mr. Bond looks good in any clothing, Hugh can effortlessly pull it off. Butt-kicking bad guys? no arguments needed. He is Australian, Bond is supposed to be British, but that wouldn’t be a problem to the fans and to the producers as well. He has the looks and the projection, and that’s enough to settle any disagreements that may arise.
Now, let us check out the following estrogen-rich beings who possess testosterone-busting capabilities as well. Who do you think among these ladies is the greatest female in the field of action in movies and television?
Violet Song
Operating in the year 2078, Agent Song is unlike any other spy or super-agent that you may casually come across every day. She also battles bad guys, but she can be even badder than the ones she’s fighting against because she suffers from a vampire-like disease that gives her heightened physical attributes. Armed with high-tech weapons and a gun-kata that can make her evade incoming bullet trajectories, Violet can be your greatest feminine protector.

Actress: Mila Jovovich
Hanna Heller
Most teenage girls are pampered by their daddies. Hanna experienced the same too, with one slight variation: she is pampered by daddy… to be the ultimate assassin. Harnessing motifs inspired by fairy tales, Hanna Heller is not your Cinderella or Red Riding Hood– she can be your wicked witch or big bad wolf, if you get in her, and that of her father’s way. Get moving Mr. bad guy, she will huff and puff and blow up your house, if you don’t come out and play.

Actress: Saoirse Ronan
Susan Cooper
If you’re a spy, you have to be fit and agile. Those are unquestionable givens. But Susan Cooper doesn’t fit into any of the 2 adjectives, because she is fat and slow, though still undeniably charming and attractive. But what good does it do to the spy community? A lot! She might be sluggish now but she was a top-notch agent a decade ago, which can still get manifested when deemed necessary. Add it up with her ‘hard to ignore’ humor, any antagonist would surely be tempted… to take her seriously.
Appears in: Spy
Actress: Melissa McCarthy
Margaret Carter
As a girlfriend of a superhero, her gorgeous looks wouldn’t make her deadly enough to any unassuming villain, but her character is better developed than you might think. She’s no damsel in distress waiting for her superhero lover to save her. She is a highly trained fighter who is nearly his equal. Even in the absence of her superhuman guy, she still continues to butt-kick the villains, and send them to their doom whenever the need for it arises.
Appears in: Captain America Movies/Agent Carter
Actress: Hayley Atwell
Evelyn Salt
Any spy, male or female has nearly the same capabilities: good with guns, good with vehicles, and good with using anything as a weapon. She is exactly like that, but she is also a double-agent driven by revenge. Aside from that, agent Salt can offer her enemies, her peers (and her audience) so much more: escaping her captors barefooted, and utilizing whatever resources are available just to throw her pursuers off-trail. Before that, she evades them while covering surveillance cameras with… her underwear. (lucky camera)

Actress: Angelina Jolie
Hughman for me! and I think it would be really interesting to see Mila on screen with him :) Loved Daniel for his JBond roles, and other of his movies too.
