The brain, the command center, and the most important part of the body it enables us to process thoughts, retain memory, do movements, feel, and make emotions. The brain holds everything that makes us humans, that makes us more productive day by day. Our ancestors have been present around six million years ago and the modern form of us humans evolve about 200,000 years ago and since then our brain is continually evolving and adapting to every small change that humans see and feel.

This is why the brain is important above all, it controls and holds everything we know. It controls the time to sleep and wake up, the dress we will wear for the day, and even hunger. So why not take care of our brain?

Exercising the brain improves memory retaining, your focus will be longer and better, it will improve your everyday work and it will make you feel less stressed. So, here are some of the ways or tips to strengthen and better our brains.

Have fun with jigsaw puzzles

Making yourself busy by putting together thousand pieces image of a landscape or joining hundreds of pieces of a cartoon character is one of the best ways to exercise the brain.

According to research, jigsaw puzzles exercise the left and right side of the brain at once, the left side of our brain is for logic, work, science, and math, while the right-side brain is for the creative and intuitive process. According to other research jigsaw puzzles improve shorth term memory loss, improves visual-spatial reasoning, it is also a great form of meditation and stress reliever.

And most of all jigsaw puzzles are perfect for some alone time away from crowded cities and noisy streets.

Learning new skills is fun and interesting, and at the same time, it helps the brain to function more resulting in a stronger brain especially in older adults. Try to practice drawing, playing guitar or other instruments. It is fun and entertaining and you don`t know your new skill can take you somewhere far from where you are.

Play and listen to some music
