Just keep going!

I have always enjoyed trying new things, even if it means stepping outside of my comfort bubble. To spend my entirety of Sunday morning basking in the sun wandering and taking trips, grasping some fresh air to breathe. Getting to the zenith, witnessing picturesque places, watching the crystal-clear river flow will always be my favourite.

When I was a year old, I discovered the true way to walk, and for the rest of the summer days that followed, I was never still for a second. I am aware that I am an adventurous child, yet I am also quite vulnerable.

I was drawn to many adventures. I recall Tina, my cousin, and I sneaking out of the house to go to our friends' place to play "hide and seek, tag, then, riding on the spathe of a coconut tree sliding into a mountain-made mud would complete our day.

I started school when I was four and a half years old. Since my sister works so hard to teach me, I have never felt intimidated, as soon as I entered the room, I felt the sense of fun and excitement towards learning. I was compelled to read books because I needed more. So, much more. So, I began my deep delve into studying, and my love for studying grew to the point where I would rather read than play.

My mother describes me as a young woman who is self-sufficient. I have been able to go to school by oneself since the first day. I would join competition alone, I would discover ways to generate money and meet my necessities; for instance, I would sell quail eggs, just anything to have extra allowance. Since then, I would tell myself I was ready for anything.

As I grew older, I have realized that life is not always daisies and butterflies, it is not always fun, at some point it is more about enduring and thriving; it is like climbing a mountain; the harder you strive to reach the top, the more obstacles you will face. I was not born into a family of millionaires who sat around with wealth in their pockets. There are no ivory and gold accents in our house, and no marble arches leaning against our pillars. But Love is always present amidst strong circumstances.

Despite the difficulties I was facing, I knew deep down in my heart that things will eventually turn around in my favor. Yes, I had a hard time! Yes, it was difficult, but those challenges and circumstances strengthened my desire and add more courage to see confront life and thrive for what I was meant to do. To feel afraid to do new things but still does it anyway. To step on the pedestal with knees shaking but still stand high and tall. Fighting my way to reach my dream.
