Who would have predicted we'd be in this situation right now?
Wearing a mask is a must!
Social distancing!
Some businesses are even closing,
Universities are transitioning,
New normal is occurring.
It is almost a year now, the pandemic has changed us a lot particularly in our learning system, I could still remember the days entering the gates of our campus. Lurking around the University, enjoying the scent of aromas of the different perfumes and the strong and powerful smell of food at the nearby cafeteria. The booming sounds of the students laughing, shouting, and chatting are all you can hear before the bell strikes. As you enter the classroom, chairs were exquisitely arranged in one spot. Across the windows, the sun's glowing rays carrying light to the building brings a different kind of vibe when studying.
Feeling nostalgic about traditional schooling, digital culture presents new challenges. Many people believe that switching from a face-to-face teaching style to an online modular system is a terrible idea. Nobody expected this to be a roller coaster ride; many encountered difficulties, particularly with internet connectivity, access to a student's laptop or computer, and the pressure to perform well in the face of all the changes.
There are days when adapting to new normal feels like building a whole new world. Familiar with Aladin? If I could only ask a genie, I would probably wish that we could go back in time where we could freely laugh closer with our friends, where we could be in a hurry entering our class because we are late already, where we could hang out in our favorite go to places like the mini forest where, we usually memorize and review our notes ten minutes before the test. Also , eating street foods after class to relieve our stress , after taking an exam is such a great memory to add on.
Vividly, our memories remain still, everything that had happened during those days were engraved in every wall, the misery, the joy, the heartbreak, the anxieties, the kilig moments when we see our professors, everything that had happened back then are never forgotten. Things are no way the same as it was, adapting to this new normal thing could be also interesting but one thing is that we find ourselves in the four corners of our classroom, we find belonginess and happiness.
Some things are never forgotten; they change our lives, they leave us with memories and bliss, and they help us learn. Though some things are no longer the same as they once were, one thing is certain: everything will soon return to normal.
Even though the pandemic caused us a lot of problems, it also taught us to value time, friendship, and life. The way this pandemic affects us changes our perspective, giving us the courage to continue living life despite the hardship it has caused. We don't know how long this thing will last, but one thing is certain: it will all come to an end.
What we can do is move forward and work harder to achieve our goal. With faith and courage, we can overcome this Pandemic; shortly, we will see our friends in the classroom again; soon, we will be able to talk without the mask bothering us; and soon, we will hang out with friends like there's no tomorrow. Things will be fine in due time.
This new way of learning is just a new chapter throughout our lives as students; we don't know how long this pandemic will last, but we know that we will experience joy when we are at school, and when everything is fine, we can go back and finish our adventure.
All is well 🤎 All will be alright in time 😊🌻

One thing is sure, nothing last forever. The issue is fading away already and things are coming back to normal gradually. In my country, the restrictions are not that too muchly effective. Observation of social distance is still intact but not as strong as it was was before. The world is winning already.
