- A man came and Wahab bin Munabbeh (Rah.) Said, ‘Such a person has criticized you.’ He said, ‘Satan did not find anyone as a pawn except you?’
- A man said to Imam Shafi'i (ra), ‘Such a person has said bad things about you.’ He replied, ‘If you are truthful, then you are a slanderer, and if you are a liar, then you are a slanderer. The man was ashamed and left. '
- A man said to a scholar, ‘Such a person has said such nonsense about you.’ He said, ‘Look, the man shot an arrow at me, but it did not pierce me. But you brought it with your own hands and put it in my heart. '
