   All these technological advancements have made the lives of humans effortless and pretty much easier. Every month scientists come up with a new and astonishing technology to make our lives more simple.

Delta Touch-less Faucet

 A touch-less faucet takes advantage of automated faucet controls to implement hands free activation. The delta touch technology used for this faucet helps to keep your faucet clean, an elementary touch anywhere on the spout or kitchen faucet handle will activate the flow of water. This faucet has an Delta Temp Sense  LED light that adjusts the color to alert you of the water temperature, If the color is Blue then cold water will flow and if it is red then the faucet will provide hot water.

 This faucets automated controls helps to reduce water consumption by those people who tend to leave their faucet running unnecessary. This is also an more sanitary option than touching the faucet handles with dirt and germ laden hands.

Trouble Shooting Tips

With lots of these advantages, comes some of the problems that we might need to face. Here is a look at some of the trouble shooting tips for this amazing technology.

Status Of The Battery Pack;

                                               When the water is off,and if the red light starts flashing every five seconds, it means you have low battery and it is giving you a warning to change the batteries. If the red light flashes every second, it means that the batteries are on the brink of failure. If the light is constant red and the water stops flowing, then it means that you need to immediately change the batteries.

The Water Flow;

                            Is there less water flowing or the flow of water is slow? Remove the aerator. But if the water flow is fast or plenty of water is coming out of the faucet, soak the aerator in calcium lime rust for a while and then reinstall and test.

Faucet Leakage;

                           If the faucet leaks, remove the index on the side of handle including the handle and the screw set. After removing the handle you will witness the bonnet. Remove the Bonnet to reach the cartridge. Now that you have approached the cartridge, simply pull it out straight and replace it. Now put it all back and this should fix your problem.

 The Solenoid Valve;

                                  If the water does not start flowing after the restoration of the battery, then you will need to replace the solenoid valve. Now to change the solenoid valve, you will first have to remove the batteries from the battery pack. Then pull the clip off of the mounting shank(a long narrow part of a tool connecting the handle to the operational end). You will consider a clip sliding into the slot of the shank of the faucet. Now pull the wire extension out of the solenoid assembly. The extension comes down from the body of faucet and plugs into the solenoid valve with a tip that looks similar to a headphone jack. Now replace the old solenoid valve with a new one and make sure that you ground yourself before installing the new valve as they can be touchy.

No water;

                If the water stops flowing, turn the handle so that the faucet is off. Now remove the hose from the faucet and then try to turn it on. If you get water then you need to clean the solenoid filter. If the water still doesn't flow, then you  need to change the valve.
