The links also contain information about the tokenomics and lock-ups of DOT tokens. In return of participating on the crowdloan, you will get the token of the project equivalent to the DOT you lent and you can get all your DOT back at the end of the lock-up period. The maximum lock-up period is 24 months or 2 years.
You do not need to become a DOT whale or bagholder in order to participate on the crowdloan. You can lend as small as 1 DOT or any DOT that you are comfortable to lose. Remember, there is no certainty that each project will succeed and will give you massive returns.
