The Moonriver network was deployed as a parachain to Kusama in June 2021. Since then, its DeFi ecosystem has made significant growth.
Moving funds from Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain and Avalanche to Moonriver is easy using WanBridge or Relay. The process takes only less than 10 minutes. MOVR serves as the main coin and thus as gas fees on every transaction. The easiest way to get MOVR is in Kucoin. Currently, Binance only accepts deposit and trading of MOVR, but not withdrawals.
Here are seven promising DeFi apps that you may want to try at Moonriver:

Liquidity providers earn FINN token which can then be staked into TOM. TOM continuously grow in ratio in relation with FINN which means that users will get more FINN the moment they decided to unstake.
2. Solarbeam (https://www.huckleberry.finance/) has a clean and beautifully-designed user interface. Liquidity providers earn SOLAR tokens. Solarbeam also has a launchpad for future projects who want to launch on Moonriver.
3. 1Swap (https://1swap.fi/) is the first stablecoin DEX in Moonriver. Users earn 1SWAP by putting their stablecoins to work and without worrying the risk of price volatility.
4. Zenlink (https://dex.zenlink.pro/#/swap) is a cross-chain DEX protocol. In addition to liquidity providers earning ZLK, other projects can also utilize Zenlink's liquidity bootstrap program.
