Meet Jade

Forgive me for I lack preciseness in my words. I am an amateur when it comes to the field of writing. Let us again have Jade back with us. The free-spirited character, who would only want to have peace around her. Let us be lost in her story. When and where I first mentioned her, I forgot already. If you ever remember her, good for you. And thank you! I’m welcome! (I find Moana cute.)

Jade’s life’s bane is her indecisiveness and lack of solid stance over most matters. She usually keep herself to herself though she would appear loud, boisterous, and unreserved sometimes. But it must have been the exact opposite of being unreserved because in truth she had a lot of reservations. Example, instead of telling the truth, she masks it with her seemingly boisterous attitude but really, she is a modest being.

Jade’s indecisiveness would almost always cost him lost time. Like when instead she concludes an act, she thinks about it over and over and over. In addition, she is very deliberate, slow, and most of the time plays on the safe side, not revealing her true feelings or intent for the purpose of not offending anyone.

So Jade here has her indecisiveness as her bane. To make her life easier, she would go to places and observe how other people do their jobs. She observes everyone in the hope of seeing something that she could emulate. But sometimes, she is choosy. She could not quite decide whom to follow. But she gets angry with herself and tries even harder. She is gradually creating patterns for the sake of laying out something she could live on. And not to waste her precious time.

So over time, she realized her weakness and tried to be more decisive, quick, and snappy. But most of the time, she would revert to her true nature. Nonetheless, she learns her lessons and tries her best to improve.

Our character would have done more gardening if not for another passion that contends with it. Nope, I believe, it wasn’t gardening that she wanted to do but weeding out and just playing with the soil. Oh, how she loved the smell of the earth. The ground where she came from and to where she will be deposited when she dies. Tell me, who doesn’t love soil?

She attempted to care for some cacti and succulents and even papaya and tomatoes and onions. But found out she couldn’t grow them. Why? She would answer her own question. Of course! Of course! She would think. Plants need the care they needed. Watering them is not enough. They also eat like any other living being. And the harder work is determining the right amount of watering and the right timing of feeding. So to be clearer, she loves the soil and much as she wanted to succeed in gardening, she just can’t pull it off.

Oh yes, the reason why she isn’t playing with the soil nowadays is because she had another passion. But what that would be will not be mentioned here. She believes time will come when she will be able to play with soil once more. To get lost in her thoughts while she removes weeds and cultivates the land for crops to grow. She realizes even though she wasn’t good at growing, she was good at weeding. That would be more than helpful. She could help her farmer parents when she goes home to her hometown.

Love life? Oh yes, definitely Jade has had a love life. Not anymore. If we are more generous, we could say she still have love life and her love would be herself. The bitter truth was that she lost her love when she thought he was too good for her. Too good for him. He eats sweet cakes and enjoys them but she wouldn’t want to live sweetly.

When finally our character comes around, we will be knowing her more. Jade is a fictional character. Sometimes based in real life but most of the time not. She will appear again randomly soon but that soon may not be soon enough. But who knows, she will be given life again in the very near future.
