They say it's all done to go back to normal, the old normal but I know it's not true and so do you. The old normal wasn't good enough. They talked about it, signed agreements and want to be the first to achieve them. It doesn't matter if we are small, we do hardly waste, abuse, add to the pollution, killed all the fish but we have to be the first. The fact is no one takes you seriously if you are little. You do not count, don't have a voice not even have one if you pay three times more than the others, those big ones, and those big ones are crooks, don't pay their share.
Normal no longer exists and more and more people know, feel they are fooled. At first, they felt shocked, next fear took over and after fear, it was depression, frustration and anger their turn. Anger about all those fake promises, anger about how easily we were fooled. We knew they discussed it in October 2019, we wanted to believe it was for our good, not a setup, we hoped for a happy end. Hoped soon everything would be back to normal.
We forgot the normal we knew wasn't normal that long ago. Our parents, grand-parents lived by different norms, standards, rules. What was custom to them we ignored, no longer cared about. We laughed at their faces, forgot to show respect and ignored the rules of hygiene, privacy and not disturbing the neighbours after 8 or 10 p.m. We gave up on caring for each other, bonding with others, quality time with family and friends. We thought we could permit ourselves everything and were free.
We won't go back to normal. I know it and so do you. Those countries you looked down at, the dictators... communism it all will be the new rule we'll live by. A life some still remember and escaped from and the rest will be forced into or grow up with.
Registration, being registered everywhere will be the new custom. Not only they will ask for your ID, social security number and bank account but your body temperature will be measured and a tool around or chip in your neck will exactly tell them where you have been and with whom you were close with.
If you didn't notice it yet this is the new normal each one of us is forced into. There's no way you can escape... in a few decennial you will admit you were fooled, talk about those good old days. Those days children played outside, people were free to go out, free to travel and meet others, that time private property was still allowed and we ate meat and felt healthy and if we start telling how it once was the young ones will laugh in our face say "in your dreams", or "those old people always talk about the past, it's so boring".
So true. Childhood was so loving. I miss those days when there was not any tension or not any burden. Life was so relaxed and free. Life was so beautiful when youngers were given respect to their elders and obeyed them. And now everything is changed. Everyone is busy. Time is changed. People are changed. Wanna go back to golden days when our grandparents told us about instructive stories. When people gave time to each other. When we were far away from worries. ALAS! Miss everything.
