The Saint

I just finished writing the second poem for tonight's celebration. I know it's late but I am still on time and that's what counts. Not all our celebrations do come with a poem but those for December 5th do. December 5th, more the night of December 5th is called 'pakjesavond' which means present evening. It's something to look forward to and not for children only. This celebration is meant for everyone entire families even families who fall apart. For some reason, someone started to call this a celebration for children which isn't true. It's for poor people. Nicholas helped them and that's what this celebration is about.

My grandparents celebrated it and for several years I joined a volunteering group of people who are willing to make a 'surprise' for the elderly. An elderly who lived in a nursing home and wasn't invited by children, family or neighbours to celebrate with them.

This year I didn't make a 'surprise' but back then I did and till a few years ago (even last year) we tried to hang on to that habit. if you wonder what a 'surprise' is: it's something creative you make and inside you hide the real present. Within my family, all surprises were pieces of art and many are saved after all those years. Last year we couldn't celebrate as a family due to the co-vi-d-nonsense which took the spirit away and that's exactly what they, the rich, want. They want us to stop celebrating while they will continue going out, have their Gala parties and fun.

For several years all kind of nonsense is spit out about the Saint, Christmas and Eastern. The entire year we need to listen to the stupidity of what a handful of people spit out. Those reasons why we shouldn't celebrate are all the same and if these people could read and would invest a little bit of time in reading and history they would know it's nonsense and what they say is based on totally nothing.

For longer, I didn't understand how it can be certain people are so blind. Today, thanks to the co-vi-d-hoax I do. Hypochondriacscs, hypocrites have a lot in common starting with hypo- and the impossibility to use their brains which isn't their fault. They aren't even aware common sense left them and they can't think like others. Their head is empty and the only feeling left is fear. Imagine how terrible life is if all you can think of is the fear that eats you? The fear of other people, the fear someone speaks to you, the fear they discover you are an empty barrel, the fear to miss out, the fear of not being invited to the party. It hardly makes life worth living don't you think so? Anxiety eats people, it narrows the mind and all they can do if you say something is attack and shout. They hope they will be noticed and can win by aggressive behaviour. There's no need to scold back or to get angry with them since they can't help. The only thing you can do is pity them. Pity those who can't see the world for what it is. Pity those who truly believe this world will be a better place if no one has a bank account or personal possessions left except for the rich. This better world won't happen. The world will not be a better place if we stop celebrating if we don't celebrate Christmas or you give up on Ramadan. Not that this will ever happen. People will start fighting back if you take the last two or three celebrations away from them. They won't sit at home, obey, get depressed and commit suicide. They find a way to improve their lives and make it better. Entire nations proved it, we see it everywhere around us. It's as old as humankind what is forbidden is most attractive. People will celebrate and build memories. If not with an entire nation inside their homes.

The witch hunts started again. This time against Christians. Some EU members ventilated recently that the word 'Christmas' should be forbidden. Is this because Christmas is a religious thing? Are Christians seen as dangerous? Perhaps X-mas is allowed and if not the word Winter can take over again since that is what the original celebration was about. Father Winter, Midwinter celebration (the darkest night) and if it comes to it I am fine with that celebration too since Christmas, the tree, the good, spicy food, nuts all belong back to those days where Wodan rode his horse through the sky and father winter did wear green instead of coca-cola red. Indeed this is the original celebration you all worldwide adopted from people called pagan today (kind of insulting if you think about it).

In the mood or not: we keep celebrating even without making surprises we do. This year we made a start with just the three of us. There are presents, candies, cookies, hot chocolate and... poems. Poems about how the last years was, about what is said or done. Saint Nicolas poems don't need to be about how nice and great a person is but should say what is wrong, what should be different since only those who have been sweet deserve a treat.

While I'm writing this I wonder what the Sint Nicholas celebration in elderly homes will look like today. Are there still people willing to buy a gift, write a poem and make a surprise for a stranger today? How many in nursing homes are forgotten and what about those who stay in hospital? Even if I would like to bring presents they won't let me in and most likely the nurses throw it away too scared to get infected by what they can't see, can't test and their narrowed minds can't understand.

I wonder too what today will look like in 5-8 years. Many more people will be dead. Imagine you are reading this and in a few months you are dead. Not planned but what can you do? It's all part of the game, the experiment. Celebrating is no part of it and those who don't die before the end of this year easily can next year or the year after.

My grandmother used to say: you think what's old needs to be used first? She meant to say with this expression: no respect for the elderly, the elderly need to die first. The present governments use the same policy although they want children to die too. That expression 'Children are the future' no longer counts. Those who left might forget about the celebrations we once had, just like the possibility to travel and live a life without a chip in your hand, a phone or a facemask. So many already find it the normal thing to do. Wearing a dirty face cloth while not one single expert says it helps.

My eldest wrote to me this morning: L. the stepchild said: two or three presents must be in it. The youngest said: I'm fine with a crumb. The Saint can give to those who never get something. All I want is to see auntie.

It's touching what the youngest said. I hope children like these are not forgotten out of the experience I know that's what easily happens. 'Kinderen die vragen worden overgeslagen' is an old Dutch expression that is very untrue. Those who ask are served first. Those with big mouths get what they want. Norms, values are gone. Have you noticed it? With the new worldwide dictatorship, these people will be wiped out of the scenery. A social credit system will not reward them.

Conflicts like this happen a lot maybe because the mindset of humans is different in terms of whether this is a conflict or just a bullshit utterance. we must be aware that more and more trust is being built with the influence of the world's progress. insight and thinking power began to increase. The world may change but faith will never change.

Conflicts like what? Each country, each nation, each personnshould have the right to stick tot his culture, norms, values, habits and celebrations. If I visit your country I respect yours, if you visit my country you respect mine. Respect is the key. I don't ask you to take part of it, eat my food and so on but I won't give up on it because you don't like it or it hurts you.

It's the influence of some that change the world. Not the mindset of the people. I agree real faith will never change.
