No, not deer or witches this time but everyone else we can freely discriminate. The government does it and we all know by now if they do it we can, should do it too. That's the whole idea. We follow the leader preferably out of our own free will. Many wills without any hesitation because using their brains is too much asked. Following the leader, the order given is easier and with some luck, you are even accepted and might be liked.
We do everything in our power to be liked. Being a pariah isn't a goal any of us like to achieve but it happens, indeed shit happens and in most cases if we do not count on it. Bad fortune, a curse, some witchcraft, a spell put on you? In a film it might be great, if it happens to others it's fine. From a distance, on the other side of the world won't hurt since you can close your eyes and play your music so loud that you won't notice the injustice.
The which hunt started... A hunt for people who are as bad, if not worse than all those people accused of witchcraft during the Medieval once were. The Medieval Plague...perhaps you remember that time if you lived once before. If you lived in what we call today Europe. That plague killed many, perhaps too many we don't know for sure. What we do know is that a certain group of people was blamed for it. People who did not drop dead immediately. People who cared about others, about hygiene and put their trust in Mother Nature. Of course, not everyone could be rescued. Humankind is not meant to live forever. Even today the average age in the Western world is 45 years old. Indeed you read it right: 45 years. This means if you die at the age of 81 you lived way longer than that average age. If you die at that age of a virus it's normal, a natural death. You had your life.
If you are worried about viruses and getting sick you have a hard life. Each moment of your life your body is attacked by strange viruses and bacteria. It's good we do not know, see what lives inside us, surrounds us and what thing with tentacles hides into the shot so many received during the past months, it's good our eyes aren't as great as a microscope. You might create a phobia if you see what hides in your drinks and food. You might truly believe the minister is right if he blames the unvaccinated people. Those people with a fine natural immune system. People who do not trust old stuttering men lose track after they spoke three words. People who invest time in searching for information about viruses and... aerosols!
Aerosols have nothing to do with witchcraft, a spell, not washing your hands, not keeping distance or not wearing face masks but everything with super spreaders, a broken immune system, not ventilating. If you are too lazy to search for the truth, a coward who lets himself be manipulated, are afraid, is not independent, care about what people will say or think about you the choice is easily made. You follow the leader, the bully and are fine with the scapegoat everyone picks on as long as it isn't you.
During the Medieval, most religious people died. The witch-hunt was started by the church! Today a new hunt started. The scared, vaccinated crowd is good for the minority of covid patients at this moment blame those who are healthy. What a change nearly two years ago. At the time those first covid patients were scolded by entire nations on social media, were discriminated against and blamed for all misery in the world.
I just hope this ends soon. In a few months, my entire country will be 100% vaccinated against covid. We will then see if the cases come down and the deaths decrease a good%. Many have already died.
