The Bread Farm
Listen, we can't deal with all those people
you know that. We have them where we want them, you know how it worked in the past this will one hundred per cent work again. You know everyone wants to be part of the future, goes for a better life and adores the promising land. We can't keep those container homes and complaining, lazy types here forever. You just like me know it's prevalence of failure to continue. This is the last station. Develop it, do as told. How long will it take?
No border was a huge mistake, the CEO thought, they all fell into the trap. What made people so dumb to trust they would receive aid in a country that hated the invaders?
A short nod of his head was enough to make Ofra keep her mouth shut she was poison.
He was glad to be outside even though the air was humid but at least he could breathe. How he wishes he had stayed on his home 'Bread Farm' like his parents had called their little farm in the countryside. How long ago was it he had visited his folks, met his siblings with their expanding families? Inside he felt something gnawing, was it a warning?
At a park bench, he sat watching children play. They still enjoyed life or at least today. No worries at the moment l, not even about wet clothes. He smiled as he noticed one of the children was not wearing trousers. Smart kid, he wouldn't have to deal with an angry mom because he soaked it while splashing in the fountain and tried to jump over the waterfall.
Good enough for the next adventure. It would be one about the normal pleasures of life, those small adventures during childhood. It would end with a rice shower. A rice shower was positive unlike being killed by hailstones or an execution by bullets.
The new adventure was enrolled within 6 months. By that time nearly everyone was introduced to gaming and knew about the latest invention .everywhere in the country the adventure-cabinets showed up. In line, people waited to enjoy the latest trend.
Wim and his son Hans waited for their turn, excited they chatted about their first adventure on King's Day at the fair.
This one must be an amazing dad, I am happy you came along.
As it was their turn they sat in the comfortable seats and leaned back while the glasses were put on and exactly fitted around their faces.
Keep your eyes open, they read, fasten your seatbelts and enjoy your last adventure, The Wrong Platform says goodbye.
They stood in a meadow, flowers all over the place, the smell was overwhelming.
What should we do, asked Wim while he looked at his son. It's a bit pink.
Are we in Alice's wonderland? It looks familiar. What is that? The boy pointed behind his father's back.
A pole raised out of the soil. It was a type of telefon with a white rabbit's head on it.
Let's contact the rabbit and see if he has a hint for us.
Together father and son walked through the meadow on a lovely summer day and pressed the button...
