Rise with the Sun

Rise with the sun feels like getting out of bed early before the rooster crawls out of his nest to make the noise only he can make unless you have pheasants around since they make a more hoarse sound day and night.

They hide and at times they show their faces or lay down in the sand not caring about danger 'though the land they are living in is full of it since pheasant is a threat to men and beasts.

Sunflowers do not arise. They stand still and most of them face in the same direction, it's that way where the sun can shine on all those faces for the longest time of the day.

The flowers are just like sheep and you'll always see a few who do it 'their way' they pop up far away from the rest or turn their faces in the opposite direction.

I wonder what the farmer is up to. There's no need to shuffle around in a field of sunflowers, they just grow like corn or wheat does.

Is he on his way digging a hole to hide something? They say labour early in the morning counts double and is worth gold.

In the sunflower bed, the farmer waits since he knows with the rise of the sun his wish will be fulfilled.

Sunbeams drop and cover his field with gold which is a very good reason to get out of bed early and wait.
