How disappointing
**Strange how easily we are getting fooled.** **We hear and see one thing but behind our backs, something else goes on.** We have some changes here, on this platform I mean. Changes in reading.cash which I apparently missed. I know how you get rewarded if you join a community and new more rewarded if you write good original content. **For communities, there's a reward in it too.** If you are the first adding a post you win and have that extra point. If you add later you are too late. Thanks to the extra option "automatically adding an author" you can be number one as a community unless you are not the first one chosen but hey, it's worth the try. **Weird...** As I joined this platform I was told I needed to write original content, no plagiarism, taking care of grammar, etc. Since I (help) moderating I see all kinds of tweets. Terribly written tweets. The most terrible ones no one cares about editing. Editing cannot be so hard if you share two sentences. It's clear to me now how people can post every 5 minutes. *They have nothing to share*, there's no story to tell, nothing interesting or something you can learn from. `Am I the only one left sticking to the rules, the idiot who reads, checks, reads again, and comments?` Should I still bother or better save myself time, ignore the rules of the communities and add you all automatically? **To be honest...** I lost trace. I have no idea how to read this post written by @Cain and I cannot find any response of @read.cash saying this is true, this platform is not about writing at all. https://read.cash/@Cain/ive-changed-my-mind-about-readcash-4730dc77 If that is the case it means this platform isn't different from the rest. It's not special. You just type a few letters, dots, a comma, and it's fine. There's no need to write something that makes sense. There are plenty of communities adding and never reading or commenting. It's clearly a good place to be if you want to earn fast. Just open 40 accounts and drop some lines, the rest goes automatically.

You misunderstood something. Yes, our main goal is to make as many people use Bitcoin Cash as possible, but we never ever stated anything close to "You just type a few letters, dots, a comma, and it's fine". Of course to get paid you need to write well. For that you'll earn well. Please read [our plan](https://read.cash/@Read.Cash/some-plans-for-communities-3b38e8ce#our-plan) about communities. We're at step #2 of 4 steps. EDIT: To clarify a little bit: if at step #4 your plan will be "ignore the rules of the communities and add you all automatically" - your community will not be giving anyone any points. Auto-accept feature is to accept great authors that you know for sure won't post crappy content.
I totally get you. I would prefer to read original contents and sensible ones. I mean, it can be any story but I guess we must try to check some spelling correction or grammar. 😅
I share some of that feeling. Read.cash is becoming worse every day. It is hard to know if it is worthwhile to stay. I posted one article today, just to test a few things, otherwise I have almost stopped posting, waiting for the worst mess to be fixed, and if it is not, I will leave. This thing about different versions of the same article and the comments separated between them is beyond anything I have ever seen. It's not better by that notifications lead to "article" outside of community, a version that is essentially outside everything. You wont get points for comments, not for many thumbs up or 100 views... And then the posts... so much rubbish. There is almost nothing worth reading. Even in comments one finds plagiarism. Look at the comments to my article in your Psychology community. If you find a text like that in the comments, that's an alarm bell. But it is so much so I don't know if it is worth the effort to fight it. Nobody else here seems to care. Yes, a few do, but they are too few.
But it's only a few days ago @read.cash said this is what they want to fight, this is their biggest problem. It can not be that hard to kick out those who spam most or commit plagiarism most. It can be reported, reports can be checked. If this is true it means the only thing read.cash does is supporting scam. Why are they doing that if they say they need advertising to increase the fund because scam drains it? I like to know if or what is done against plagiarism or if this, all those changes are, just keeping up appearances. I hop over to you. 👍💕
I don't know. But the fact is that the more they do, the worse it is, so far. The problem with kicking people out is that they just open new accounts and continue. As I have understood it, readcash's idea is to make it meaningless with spam and plagiarism, so they stop because they don't earn anything from it... And I don't think they earn so much, because they get less BCH per point. Maybe you don't know, but the value of points is not equal. Good writers get more per point. Spammers get so little that it ought to be meaningless already now (but apparently it is not meaningless). That is what readcash say, anyway, and that is also how they claim that spammers don't drain the fund. We cannot know more than that. But there must be true improvement soon, otherwise this project is doomed. In my opinion, however, someone committing plagiarism should be immediately deleted from the system. I found many, reported them as well, but they are still flourishing and well, with their stolen material displayed in communities. By the way, I will block the author of that comment to "Fear & Self-Discipline" in your community, then the comment will disappear, I just wanted him to see my answer, so he knows it was discovered.
The way you explain it now makes it a bit more clear to me. For sure new accounts will be made and I know some already run a high amount of them. I report too just like the other moderators and we try to check each community again. Thanks for the tip about blocking the commenter. I haven't thought about it yet. I noticed several times someone literally copy-paste someone else's answers. If I see it I ask why but so far I never received an answer. How does the commenter know he/she is discovered? They receive a message if you block or report them? 💕
No, but I wrote a reply, as you have probably seen. Then I let it be long enough to be sure the offender has seen it. After that I block that member. That reminds me that I never block/deleted that comment. I will do it now.

I have a much smaller website and very few users and I had to introduce very strict rules for registration. Otherwise it was not possible to get it under control. For read.cadh you now probably need about 10 people who work for it all 24/7. I fear that they do not have these 10 people.
But if accounts are reported and it's not once but several times shouldn't these articles be investigated? Or is nothing done with it at all? That's what I wonder about. Especially after I read the article I mentioned. It feels as if it's not important anymore who joins. If that is the case I like to add some of the stories Inposted elsewhere here so I can save them.
I think that read.cash aims to make Bitcoin Cash better known, but I don't think that quality is irrelevant. He would be stupid, and I don't think he is stupid. I suspect that with the introduction of the fund, so many users have come to the platform that he is no longer able to manage it. That's why he introduced the communities, so that the users would take care of it themselves. It does not work yet, but I think it will get better. I have the hope, not given up. I really know how difficult it is. You have to write and test the programs quickly. I guess the programmers hardly sleep.
