I am not a stalker

I slide by, stand motionless

I observe or... have a closer look.

And I discomfort strangers too.

Did I damage you?

Do I really irritate

You, are monitored, observed daily

Even at night

There are eyes, cams focused on you.

This is not me.

All I am is an observer of people

Not the snake in the grass.

Not a cop, no creep

No man in black suit

You owe me an apology

Because I see what you can't see.
