Lack of oil
Oil, no matter whether it is sunflower oil or petroleum (the black gold) mankind needs it. This has not always been the case, but the fact is that as soon as man is talked into using something, it becomes indispensable. Man cannot live without it and sees no way out.

We humans can do very well without it. Sunflower oil, like any oil from seeds, is not healthy. It is less harmful than trans fats and palm oil, but it is still unhealthy. The past few decades have proven this, as so have all those food experts who keep recommending whatever is new on the market to keep mankind healthy. The result of all these health trends is that the average person has gained a lot of weight, suffers more often from mental problems, and finds it normal to take medicines. Those who take pills, sit in the doctor's waiting room for the slightest thing and get tested for anything and everything that is not healthy.
If you cannot conceive and give birth in the normal way is not healthy.
Anyone who allows fear to rule their life is not healthy.
Who is too tired to get out of bed and be active is not healthy.
Who is always stressed by everything, who is overworked by everything is also not healthy, and neither is the person who cannot see reality or who isn't independent and can't make decisions.
A person who lives on vitamin preparations is not healthy, and who isn't outside for a few hours every day is not healthy either. Who does not ventilate his house daily is also not healthy.
A lot of food is unhealthy, especially the food served in fast-food restaurants and all those ready-made products that the shops are full of! Everything that comes in packets, pouches, processed, and wrapped in plastic is unhealthy. Petroleum is needed to make plastic. Plastic is the packaging material that everyone has to put up with nowadays and you just have to try and get rid of it.
The sender may even send you an unsolicited box full of plastic waste! The box you see could have been half the size, but perhaps the company wanted to get rid of its waste?
We can do without oil.
It will take some time to get used to, but without oil, no one needs to be in the cold. Of course, that will happen, because not only the oil tap but also the gas tap has been closed for several countries and without coal, wood or nuclear power... The fact is that people cannot do much about it. While the king remains silent, the PM decides that the people may suffer and die from the cold.
Suffering from cold and starvation because of a senile, old man who says that everything is someone else's fault. It is remarkable how the media remains silent and keeps printing lie after lie.
_He who digs a hole for someone else falls in it himself_, is a Dutch saying and that is exactly what is happening now. When you are dependent on imports, it is better to keep other countries on your side, even if you see them as your enemy. _Keep your enemies close_ is an empty phrase.
BRICS is many times bigger and good for billions of people, G7 not even for half a billion. BRICS is expanding.
It looks like there will indeed be a new world order and that the western world is falling apart faster than expected. Strange or the result of starting and fighting wars because of a country's treasures overseas?
Nations that are repeatedly forced into war, that are boycotted for years will not be eager to supply their bullies and abusers with food and oil now. Which country can a once-worldly power now turn to because it does not have (enough) oil itself? Offshore oil may be a good temporary solution, but if nothing is done to replace it, all production and import will be finished.
In the end, mankind will survive. Mortality will tackle overpopulation, food shortages need not exist as long as people keep growing potatoes and wild picking is also an option to stay alive as is cannibalism after all animals, including insects, have been eaten.
We will manage with or without oil. Some countries will have an easier time of it than others, even if they have to beg Venezuela or Saudi Arabia, which they have boycotted, for oil because they still feel all-powerful and have never shown a shred of respect for other norms, values, or a culture older than their own.
