Is there a way? Yes, there is if you play it smart, no one cares about the victim or you as murder or you have a great lawyer, one who loves a challenge, loves to win.
The only lawyers I had were those who knew how to charge me high amounts for basically doing nothing. It's how it usually goes. They tell you it's a case they can win, send you one bill after the next and after that... After that, you hardly hear from them. A lawyer is always busy or at least they say they are but they are rarely busy with your case. What they do it putting all those letters with accusations aside and wait till the very last minute. They wait, wait and wait and if the term of the opposite expired they take a vacation or ask you what to answer. It's strange to answer, tell a lawyer what to say, do their job and pay for it. It doesn't feel right but it is how it works if you are not famous, rich or both. Delay is a good thing a lawyer once told me, it's a strategy with the hope someone will give up because in long term those costs for a lawyer won't pay themselves back. Paying for a lawyer is the worst investment one can do. "There's a huge difference between having the right and getting your right," a lawyer once told me with the words "you better give up". Why should I give up? Because of the high bills, the stress and some people, organizations, companies have what I don't have; plenty of money and time. All the time in the world. They don't care if it comes to breaking you, your family and won't ask themselves if it's a bad thing what they do. Some sue you out of fun and if that happens you need to pay the price. Each price asked because it's not allowed to do without a lawyer, being your lawyer. I could be my lawyer by the way and once was it. It was a case against a doctor. A drunk doctor, one who should not be a doctor at all.
How to get away with murder is something you can learn from a lawyer. Not even a corrupt, dirty one in the first place. That lawyer, the one who once told me the difference between being right and getting what has right opened my eyes for sure. It's a bitter pill I can tell you if your lawyer tells you this. It's a sign too. A clear sign your lawyer will not fight for you and the law isn't made to do right, do justice. There are too many exits, holes in the maze next to all those judges who decided something other judges might follow. Cases lawyers might use but you as a client can't know about. It's not fair to let your client do the job a lawyer should do.
I wonder if good lawyers do exist. Those people willing to fight for their client. To be honest I have strong doubts about it. Lawyers, no matter how much you charge them, cannot be paid. They take a case to promote themselves, to show off with not to help someone who is framed.
You need to be good, a great observer and invest a lot of time in investigating, throwing mud and stones, have the memory of an elephant, be scrupulous and be able to ignore emotions. Your job is to break someone and to those who say they have nothing to hide I can only say everyone has and if not it will be made up.
If you want to get away with murder you can learn a lot by watching " How to get away with murder" a Netflix series. Nearly every situation is shown and there always seem to be a way out (in court) if you play it smart and for that, you don't need to be the devil's advocate but someone creative with good memory and team.
