Since we are growing up, we begin to think in different ways, however we believe that only one thought passes through our minds, although it sounds curious or peculiar, there are several types of thinking, for that reason in Virtual Variety we took the task of bringing you this interesting, short and summarized post where we will address a topic so necessary to know.

What is Thinking?

All human beings have the ability to form ideas and mentally represent something or someone, any activity that our mind recreates or produces is called thought. However, we must clarify that thinking is not innate, it develops with practice and experiences, this means that all individuals do not develop the same way of thinking, or the same thoughts due to the cognitive abilities that each of us human beings possess. The curious thing about this is that there are several types of thoughts.

Thoughts are classified according to the study of mental processes, according to the latest research there are more than 14 types of thoughts, however we will mention the ones we consider the most important to develop and use in daily life:

Critical Thinking - This mental process, is based on analyzing all the data presented to us in different situations, understand it and evaluate in the way in which it is organized, for example; "You are reading this post, however your critical thinking, tells you, to investigate in other sites, to corroborate that what is exposed in this publication has logic and is correct". That is what this interesting thought is about, nowadays it is so necessary that the majority of human beings develop it, because we would avoid so much, it would diminish the ignorance that persists in the world, for the simple fact that we would not stay with what they tell us and/or tell us, on the contrary, we would go further, to corroborate that what is exposed is true.

Creative Thinking - Undoubtedly all those who make life in Uptrennd, have developed this thought very well, because its name says it, it is based on elaborating, creating, elements that are novel, that call attention, that do not go unnoticed, when we acquire this thought, we begin to have originality, flexibility and fluidity in our creations, for example; "Every week in this platform the Moderators create different contests, in some way or another, the person who wants to participate, has to put into practice his creative thinking". Because that's what it's all about, to impress, to create something new, and also to acquire new knowledge, because even if we don't see it that way, human beings are constantly learning on a daily basis.

Investigative Thinking - Just as Creative Thinking is necessary in this platform, so is investigative thinking, because it is about analyzing, facts, in a meticulous, interested and persistent way, when we make use of this thinking, we begin to ask many questions, referring to a topic, and we try to answer each one of them, to then put into practice creativity, and create starting from the answers to form or elaborate an element for a particular use, this type of thinking is very necessary for Policemen, Historians, Scientists, Teachers, Geographers, among other professions and careers, however the simplest example is: "For us to be able to make this post, we consulted several sources, compared the information based on what is thinking and what are the different ones out there. Based on the facts collected, one of the last steps is to analyze each information obtained, and write it, always providing our point of view and short but concise conclusion". Undoubtedly, this thinking is necessary in many aspects of daily life, as you can notice, it has some relation with Critical Thinking, because it is here where we must inquire about what we are exposed, and not just stay with what we find on a web portal, on the contrary, we must find a way to reinforce such information.

Divergent Thinking - It is interesting to talk about this type of thinking, because it is based on doubting, discussing and looking for alternatives to every problem that arises in our daily life. It arises spontaneously and fluidly, and is related to Creative Thinking, not all of us manage to develop it, because every time we have a problem, we look for a general solution, for all, but not this thought, each problem will have a different solution, for example: "It turns out that the human being, has always sought ways to make life easier, we had to look for new lands to form a colony, but the sea was in the way, very simple, the boat was created, we had to carry wood, food, but its weight was not pleasant, carts were created, we had to find a way to be more communicated, no matter where you are located, cell phones and internet were born", that is what this Thought is about, to have different solutions, to each problem that arises, even if they are similar, each solution must be different.

When we read these topics, we are amazed, because it is real what is embodied in this post, however very little is said, that we have different thoughts, however they need to be developed, worked, it is not that they will arise as if from nothing, therefore, every day we must, strive more, learn as much as we can, and work on strengthening our knowledge, our learning, no doubt thinking helps in many situations, however it is time to think in a way: Creative, Critical, Investigative and Divergent, when we begin to work on these different thoughts, we will see great changes in: Our life, in our day to day, in our projects and / or work.
