Regardless of everything he had already obtained, Mr. Gonzalez began to experiment with national ingredients and without chemical preservatives, these experiments gave rise to a very particular, based on milk, eggs, sugar and mixed with pure alcohol from grapes, despite being an alcoholic beverage, seemed more like a cream, so in the year 1900 a drink is born, which has no comparison, unique and unmatched drink, in 1904 so spectacular drink is called "Ponche Crema", and the slogan of such a curious product was: "unique to Eliodoro Gonzalez P", the rich flavor it had, its smell, and the low levels of alcohol, made it a seductive drink. The President of the United States of Venezuela at that time, Cipriano Castro, under his own hand, granted the patent for the Eliodoro registry.

How do we Prepare Such an Interesting Drink?

In a very simple way, so please get comfortable, and look for where to write down the ingredients we will need, to make such seductive drink, it is worth noting that this yields 1 liter:

  • 5 egg yolks

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 1 can of evaporated milk

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 cup of rum

  • Once we obtain our cream, we will locate the pot where our milks are resting, and we will add this cream, and we will begin to mix, until everything is well integrated, when we see that our mixture is ready, we will add the cinnamon sticks, to give it that aromatic touch.

  • We will take our pot to the stove or kitchen, we turn it on medium heat, in this step, we have to be very attentive, and have a wooden spoon, to begin to stir our mixture while it is on the stove, and when we see that it is about to boil, we turn it off and let it rest. We cannot separate from the pot, nor stop stirring, because we will damage our preparation.

  • When our preparation is rested, we will remove with great care the cinnamon sticks, to perform this step, add the rum and vanilla extract, it is noteworthy that these last two ingredients, is to the taste of each, but remember that this is a drink with very low levels of alcohol, that is why it is so special and delicious, after performing these steps, look for empty bottles, clean and sterilized, where we will pour our preparation, with the help of a funnel fill the bottle.

  • After filling it, we will take our drink to the fridge, for 2 or 4 hours, you will see that the preparation will be super thick, creamy, that when the estimated time passes, and you serve it in a drink, your mouth will water, you can take it with or without ice, we hope you like this recipe, and dare to make it.
