Lailah Lurie suspected something was a little off when her usually easy going mother tried to encourage her to not talk to strangers who lurked around intersections no matter what when she was just six years old. Nevertheless, she lived a relatively normal life among other humans.
It wasn't until she bumped into the devilishly Dark Demon, Alaric Dusitior, whos iris looked as if they were made of fire and skin that looked as if he spent his entire life in the sun that her life finally began to make sense.
Alaric proved to be Kind and seemed to have an unhealthy obsession with eating big macs or anything with meat. Lailah soon learnt that Alaric had taken an oath never to bite a human being. Despite Alaric's Long Elf-like ears and Black fur turfed tail, Lailah finds herself falling for the Demon. Only fate will decided whether he kills or protects her.
When Lailah's mother is injured in a Hit and run accident orchestrated by another demon known as Asmodeus, Lailah realizes her own life is at risk. And begins to doubt whether or not she should continue to stay near Alaric. One night, a Angel appears before Lailah and warns her of a darkness within Alaric. The Angel gives Lailah a holy spear that can transform into a ring - the only weapon that can defeat a Dark Demon permanently.
