Introduction to First Aid Kit Box
Danger and accident are two things that never come to mind. However, it is possible to reduce the amount of damage in any type of accident if there is a little pre-preparation. In the event of an accident or sudden illness, first aid can save a person's life.
If a person suddenly becomes ill or injured and it is not possible to give him proper treatment immediately, we call the first aid that is given to him to save his life. The patient may need to be given first aid for a long time so that his condition does not deteriorate further until appropriate treatment is available.
Prerequisite for initial treatment
Most people in our country are not very health conscious. We assume that physicians alone are responsible for curing any kind of disease, and we don't have to think or do anything about it. Most of the common people have very little idea about first aid and their interest or effort to know about it is seldom seen. But whether at home or at work, or at any time while traveling, it is not uncommon for a physical accident or illness to occur, but it often happens. Therefore, it is very important to prepare for the first aid and have an idea about it.
It is important to know some of the specially made items needed for first aid and how to use them. Today we will learn about some of the most widely used first aid kits. Note that nowadays a complete set or box of 'First Aid Kit' is easily available to buy. However, many people will feel comfortable to avoid extra expenses and make a 'first aid kit box' according to their needs and wants. There is no need to have all the ingredients in that box. Only materials that are known to be used, that are readily available and that are likely to be useful can be selected.
Bandage
Bandages are one of the main ingredients for first aid. In some cases, first aid cannot be considered without a bandage. Different types of bandages need to be used for cuts or bruises on any part of the body, sprains or broken bones, or many other purposes.
Among the few types of bandages, the most well-known is the adhesive short bandage, which is better known in our country as the 'One Time Bandage'. Such bandages come in different shapes, big and small. The easiest solution is to cover the area with a small bandage.
There are also crepe bandages and triangular bandages. These crepe bandages can be very helpful in holding any bandage or dressing area or in case of sprains. These are elastic or elastic.
Cotton, transport
Cotton is an essential tool for removing or cleaning wounds. So it is vital to keep a cotton packet in the first aid kit box. Cotton swabs or cotton buds can also be kept considering special needs. Transport is also called medical tape. It's a lot like scotch tape. This allows the bandage or gauze to be stuck anywhere.
Gauge pad and Gauge Role
If there is excessive bleeding from any part of the body, a gauze pad is needed to stop the bleeding. The first aid kit box can hold different sized gauze pads as well as yard rules. As an alternative to the adhesive bandage, a small amount of gauze can be cut from the gauze rule and applied to the wound with the help of a transporter.
It is also a good idea to keep a few iPads (not iPads, Eye-pads!) In mind for possible eye injuries.
Antiseptic and antiseptic materials
Antiseptic solutions are used primarily to clean different types of wounds. For example: Savlon or Dettol solution is more common in our country. Hydrogen peroxide or iodine-based solutions are also used. Antiseptic soap can be used to clean the area around the wound. Antibiotic lotions or creams help the wound to heal faster and play a role in preventing decay. These creams usually contain neomycin, polymycin and bacitracin. Many antibiotics are available in stores without a doctor's prescription. However, it is important to consult a physician when choosing an antibiotic. Someone may have an allergy or other physical reaction to a specific ingredient in an antibiotic, which only a physician can accurately diagnose.
Different types of creams and ointments
There are several types of creams that can be kept in a first aid kit box. For example, if you burn somewhere, you will need burn relief cream or aloe vera gel. Mosquitoes and other harmful insect repellents are also easily available. For various skin problems, such as itching, allergies, rashes, etc., doctors usually recommend the use of creams containing hydrocortisone. Also anti-fungal creams and sunscreens can be kept for those who have skin problems in the intense sun.
Scissors, tweezers and knives
Scissors are one of the most important parts of a first aid kit box. If possible, special scissors for cutting yards and other necessities, called 'trauma shears', should be kept in the collection. Tweezers and knives will also be required. Tweezers are a very useful tool for easily removing an insect if it stings on the skin or if there is a small piece of dirt in a cut.
Other tools
In addition to the essential tools mentioned above, there are other materials that should be kept as first aid kits. E.g.
A thermometer to measure fever.
Latex gloves (more commonly known as surgical gloves).
Safety pins for attaching dressings or bandages.
Small pencil torch to facilitate first aid in the dark.
Cigarette lighters, however, are not intended to hold cigarettes, but to disinfect various metal tools.
Also food saline, narrow head syringe, hand sanitizer, petroleum jelly, inhaler etc. can be kept in the first aid kit box.
Awesome piece! Information is Key and most people don't possess it. Accident is sure unpredictable plus, First Aid should be at our disposal.
