Characteristics
An intelligent, lively and cheerful dog. They can be great friends with other animals and children, if they are well acquainted with them and learn how to behave around them. They are good guards, can be reserved towards strangers and can be noisy.
Dressage
He is a very intelligent dog and easy to train, he is obedient and understands other commands including tricks. He is one of the most obedient dwarf dogs. Like many other small races, they can develop negative behaviors if they are allowed to become masters of the house, but with firm, peaceful and confident leadership, and early socialization, this is easily overcome.
Health
They can have problems with the knees of the hind legs, as well as with the eyes.
Appearance
We recognize Papillon by his ears, which are called butterfly ears. They are quite firm and gentle, and there are species with lowered and erect ears. They have a short snout, round, dark eyes, and the body is a little longer than body height. All colors are allowed on a white background. The front legs and shoulders are well developed, their height goes up to 28 centimeters, and they weigh up to 5 kilograms.
Care
It is adaptable, so it is suitable for both the village and the city. Long hair needs daily attention and brushing to maintain a healthy shine.
