In very exceptional cases, some educated people are more closer to reality. Yes. It is generally not the case.

I have seen many who live in their own niche world. Many are not aware of what is going on around them.

I believe reality is distorted based on belief.
Oh yeah, I totally agree. We filter so much based on our beliefs that I imagine folks of wildly different faiths live in a different world, at least as we perceive it. In the USA, where I am from, conservatives and liberals can't even agree on the "facts", the realities of contemporary life, let alone how best to govern society.
