Hello friends of #read.cash, I am new in this community, thanks for the invitation of a friend @angelkmonto, well today I want to share with you experiences of my daily life, raised and born in the Venezuelan plains, from very small I was formed in this land. I am 28 years old, how nice it is to be able to share part of our way of life with other people, I hope you like it there we go.

my land stands out for having a great variety of river and forest ecosystems, especially when winter arrives, the rains flood a large part of the marshes and the lowlands end up full of water, in this season in the Venezuelan plains we have to find a way to cope, As everything floods, we begin to take out our canoes, boats and launches, all to be able to go from one side to the other and not have any major inconvenience, in addition we also use these boats and launches to get food through fishing. Many will ask themselves, how do the people who live in these extreme places get food and medicine? Well, from a very young age we are taught the way of life and customs that must be learned, this way of life helps us to confront all the problems that the people who live here face daily, when it comes to getting food, we have a great variety of vegetation that is used to feed us.

We are the ones who sow these vegetables, also corn on the cob, sugar cane, different types of grains, basically we use what nature gives us and what we do is reproduce it in a careful and dynamic way, in this way we have food all year round, When it comes to getting meat, we go fishing in groups and we take turns according to the day, the men also go hunting, as it is a bit tougher, only men go, the women go, cleaning the house, other women are in charge of feeding the animals and in this way each person has a duty to carry out every day.

We are very aware of the reality that we live in inhospitable places like the one we live in, that is why we must take care of ourselves much more than anyone else, when it comes to getting medicine, there are the old women of the village, these women of advanced age and connoisseurs of plants are the ones who guide the new youth and say which are the herbs that we must collect to be able to have medicines.

Here the dangers of nature are latent every day, we know and we know how dangerous it is to live here, that's why we respect nature and we try to learn to live in harmony with nature. Respect nature? when we talk about respecting nature, we only take what we need to eat and no more than that, every day we have a limit, so we manage to maintain a good balance between nature and what we really need.

one of the most desired fruits is the mango, fruit rich in nutrients, it has a slightly citric flavour, this rub that is given in much of the Venezuelan plains has very good taste and also people do it in juice, sweet mango (jelly), if you ever have the opportunity to visit Venezuela do not hesitate to try this delicacy will not regret it, Mangoes have different flavours, it all depends on the type as there are different kinds, although they are all similar, some are sweeter, others have more pulp, others are a bit more sweet and sour, but they all have nutrients that serve to feed us and give us energy.

In my case, whenever I can, I eat two or even three mangoes as a snack. We can also get this fruit almost all year round, the trees that are in charge of producing this fruit blessing are loaded almost all year round. Mangoes also serve to feed us, many people do not have to eat and end up eating several mangoes in an hour in this way avoid going hungry, although it is not a complete food, this fruit in Venezuela has great impact, preferred by many Venezuelans as the fruit that helps to remove the anxiety to eat something, also in honor of the fruit, a municipality that is named San Carlos, ended up placing a giant mango that is located throughout the entrance of the municipality, giving to shine the fruit as a symbol of the fruit that blesses these lands.

when it comes to getting meat, then as I mentioned before, there is fishing, the best thing about this is how good the fish tastes, in this case, the fish in the photo is a cachama rich in protein and has plenty of meat, the bones are large and it is not very complex to prepare and eat.

The cachama can be found in the river, although we have also managed to take some fish to ponds where they also reproduce, in this way we avoid squeezing all the fish from the river and we seek to satisfy our appetite with fish that are bred in captivity.

if you ask yourself, is it easy to catch a fish? it all depends on having good practice, not all fish have the same strength, some are much more difficult to catch because of their size, not all fish have the same taste, I especially like the cachama, this fish is characterized by having a lot of meat but its meat has an insipid taste, one thing covers the other, I learned to fish from a very young age, approximately 7 years old, when I caught my first fish, at that time I felt that it was too complex, after practice it became much easier for me.

Living in the Venezuelan plains for me is an honour, although it lacks technology, we can meet with nature every day, being able to connect with nature teaches us to be much more patient people, for example, when you go fishing you must be patient, sometimes the fish do not take the suet, other days it is a little faster. everything will depend on the luck that the person has and the experience.

Pig breeding is booming because of its ease of breeding, the pig eats almost everything or it eats whatever it is given, it is also an animal that has the capacity to give birth to several offspring in a single birth, the meat of the pig has a peculiar flavour, as well as being rich in fat and has different ways of preparation.

In our village, pigs are raised freely, they roam everywhere all day long until night falls and are collected so that no animal arrives and ends up killing one of them. When they live as we do, we must be very careful, as losing an animal represents an incalculable loss for us, The breeding of cattle is also very common in this land, when we are in the rainy season the cattle are collected and taken to higher ground, preventing them from drowning or ending up getting sick.

Working and living in the Venezuelan plains requires a lot of dedication, basically everything needs attention if you want to get the best out of it, on the other hand, the upbringing of children is given since they already have knowledge of what is good and bad, around 5 years old we begin to know the different duties that the llaneros face daily, creating a habit that later will become our daily bread.

To be able to share part of my life with strangers sounds crazy, but I like that other people see the way we live our customs and ways of living and developing.
