Loop Ventures: Luna Launcher

On Terra (Luna) Network the financial blog Loop Finance has a kind of launchpad/Incubator initiative called Loop Ventures which focuses on supporting cryptocurrency and blockchain projects that add value to the Terra (Luna) Network.

Since November 2021 there have been 33 submissions for incubation with only 7 being successfully accepted and onboarded by Loop Ventures. If you're interested in the criteria you can read more on the Introducing: Loop Ventures article.

What is Luna Launcher?

Luna Launcher is the latest kid on the block but it aims to provide a different kind of launch with the ability to host a launch on multiple blockchains not just a native one.

Utilising Terra's Columbus-5 Mainnet Luna Launcher has access to a larger variety of blockchains and greater funds it can draw on to raise capital for developers and teams looking to launch their projects.

By the looks of things Luna Launcher is preparing to host IDOs of the same project across multiple blockchains at the same time maximising exposure and investment opportunities.

Luna Launcher aims to achieve their goal by hosting Initial Decentralised Exchange Offerings (IDOs) at a far cheaper rate than what the tokens will be sold at once listed on an exchange providing investors with early access to capital gains source.

Moon tokens and special abilities

IDO participation won't be an open slather event either with participants required to hold Luna Launcher native tokens Launch and earn launch fuel. there are a number of ways to do so by Providing Liquidity, staking and holding will provide participants with different amounts of Launch fuel and a greater chance of being selected to participate in an IDO.

Special note that the initial token name was Moon but recent publications have renamed the token due to Moon already taken

But it isn't the only way to receive an allocation to participate in an IDO with Loop Finance Content Creators also being whitelisted to participate in IDOs but places are only open to the top 50 content curators and the allocated air drop to Loop Finance members will only be open for a short period of time so you will need to follow the Luna Launcher official Twitter account to make sure you don't miss out.

From the projects recent Loop Finance article which also explained the changes from Moon token to Launch it is looking like a March launch is imminent. So make sure to keep an eye on this one because it is sure to shoot off into space!
