Iftar party with friends
Iftar party is just a holy and awesome party we have performed today with our friends. Suddenly we have planned to do iftar with all of our friends together and have made a to-do list. You know a to-do list is the first step to a successful party, especially for an iftar party, don’t just create a grocery list but create the main list where we have specified when we will do our groceries, our cleaning, and our food preparation. It is an interesting moment putting all of these points down on paper, or an excel sheet or Google keep will let us plan out our days before the event. Then we divide the full work into equal parts with everyone and someone was busy with cleaning the room, you know well that in that situation last-minute cleaning is only going to create a mess. By the way, cleaning our dining room or wherever we have wanted to serve ourselves and guests in advance. We have covered it with a white sheet or a plastic sheet. Also, we have made our menu according to our plan and we are thinking is it going to be a light iftar followed by a heavy dinner or the reverse haha? And also it was so confusing that maybe it was a heavy iftar followed by a light dinner because we are going to make everything at home and also besides we were going to order 2-3 things from the nearest bazaar.
We were going to fry pakoras, samosas & spring rolls and also we bought the other things like muri, chanachur, fruits, juice, etc.
We were thinking if we want to do the light iftar, 2 fried items are good with some vegetables items and fruits, but frankly speaking, I do not like to have the fried items so much, I usually like the sherbet, fruits, vegetables, boiled egg, Burhani, meat kabab, salad, fruit chaat, muri, haleem, etc. But, also we were thinking about the dinner can be a gravy item haleem, a pasta item and maybe a dry item like malai boti or tikka or fried rice, or khichuri with meats item.
We were doing to arrange a heavy iftar then at least 3-4 fried items; fry 2 items at home and get deserts or potato samosa including a pasta salad or haleem in the iftar followed by a light dinner. In our sweet hall, we were starting to freeze in advance by getting our freezer cleaned and start stocking up and
not just the typical frozen fried items like samosas and spring rolls but we can also freeze chicken and meats items and the special kebabs. We feel so much that whatever we do in advance will be one step less than we need to do on the actual party day.
We are trying to complete our cooking items in our kitchen and start using it and one of my friends have the oven which is only used for baking cakes but it can be used for so much more and we have made some roast chicken or lasagna, bake some keema. We were using it to keep the food warm and we tried to bake the cake in it, also we were keeping the stove free for other work.
Besides we asked my other friends and the children of the meds to help out with our cooking & frying, they can at least help in setting the table, preparing the drinks, and entertaining the guests in our hall, and successfully we arranged our iftar party and enjoy it a lot. All of the items were so tasty and yummy and we were so satisfied having the gorgeous iftar party in our varsity campus.
I can say that you enjoyed your iftar party with your friends. Those food items are really delicious 🤩 but sadly I guess you were not able to eat all those things.
