All the new information as well as the literature and history are at the tip of your finger. In just a snap of your finger you'll get access to all the information you are looking for.

Well, the internet world has this capacity. All the information - old and from the newest and latest news, you can have access to that in just a few clicks of your fingers. Internet has the capacity to make a person sit in front of his or her computer and exchange (send and resend) information with other computers from all around the world. Through the internet, people can have the capacity to buy and sell different products, make banking transactions, listen to the newly-released music and music videos and communicate with anyone from anywhere. All these can be done even at the comfort of people's houses.

When used correctly, internet can be the source of useful information such as the daily weather. It can also be a good source when researching about where to travel next, where's the new cozy restaurant everyone's talking about lately, where to find the book that is already sold out t the nearby bookstores, where to buy a specific car parts and many other things. The internet is also a useful tool when researching about school assignments and projects.

Indeed, internet has a huge potential for educational purposes as well as for daily communication. 

But if the internet is not used properly, it can also be dangerous.

And this can be one of the danger in using the internet. Why is that? The reason is that there are a lot of websites that also contains things or information that can ruin the morality of a person. The internet can also be a snare that could give temptation to people either by committing cyber crime or by accessing sites that can be a bad influence such as the pornographic sites. This is because curiosity is innate to people, we have the tendency to become curious and looks for something new and fun.

Studies and reports shows that pornographic contents can be easily accessed and downloaded on a lot of websites. In just a few clicks of the finger, someone can already find erotic materials that contains photos, audio clips and video clips.

Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, lessons are being held online. Recently there are reports that some pedophiles are hacking those online classes and are joining random classes and shows themselves nude on camera which young kids as well as teenagers have seen. 

Moreover, there are also those who joins the online interactive chat rooms to chat and talk with teenagers. They pretend to be the same age to befriend those innocent teens, then they could get their real names and even addresses, eventually they could rob or do other heinous crimes against them.

So it is very important to be vigilant and careful when using the internet.

Consider the following points to consider when using the internet:

Do not give your personal information such as your complete home address, your phone number and your family member's phone number and where your school or workplace is located.

Do not send photos to people you personally don't know. Nowadays edited photos are rampant online where some psychos are editing the photos of girls and attaches it on a nude body, they will then send it to a lot of internet users and post on different website which could ruin the image and reputation of a person, especially girls or women.

Don't respond to aggressive messages.

Don't open messages and emails that looks like a spam or was sent by someone suspicious.

Always remember that being vigilant is applicable to people of all ages. Just because you are already an adult doesn't mean you no longer have to take care of yourself when using the internet. There are a lot of adults who were victimized and even scammed by evil internet users.
