The first counterfeit money in the Republic of Turkey, exhibited in the Central bank of the Turkish Republic but the museum isn't open to the public. Many people thought this fake money was real but it is 'Fake'. Actually this counterfeit money has a story: During the liberation war years (1919-1923), materials were transported to the front by a military vehicle. The car's tire blows on the road. There is a Jewish tire shop in the nearest village. But the vehicle commander doesn't have enough money. The commander asks the tire workshop to repair the tire free of charge, but the tire workshop does not approach. Thereupon the commander draws a banknote. He tricks the tire shop with fake money (at the night) and gets the tire fixed and reaches the front. This event is recorded and when printed the first money Republic of Turkey, pays his debt to the Jews tire store.
