I am proud to own one of these Canon printers.
Despite lacking in some of the upsides and functionalities of a portable laser printer, the Canon ip110 Bluetooth Setup wireless printer is really practical, especially for everyday use. The IP110's blocky, lighter design is a major upgrade over its predecessor. The IP110 weighs 4.3 pounds, while its predecessor was 4.4. The IP100's elevation is about 1/10th inch higher than this printer.

However, the CLI-36 color cartridge can be used on this device to print 249 coloring pages or 104 color photos. This printer can print at a maximum resolution (9600 x 2400 dots per inch). This includes borderless images as well high-definition photos.
Printing Speed
The printer's speed is reasonable, considering that it is a portable device. The average time it takes to print a full 10 x 15 cm borderless photo with this printer is 53 seconds. It takes approximately 50 seconds to print the same Photo Lab Quality photo. IPMs are also known as Impressions per Minute. IPM simply refers to how many dots are printed on a paper that has a fixed resolution.
This printer produces an average speed of 9.0 IPM in monochrome printing. It prints at 5.8 IPM in colored. This device is compatible almost with all types of paper, including glossy papers, matte papers, and others. This device is small enough to hold 50 sheets of paper. There is no need to constantly load the printer up with paper. Fifty sheets is plenty for a portable printer.
Connectivity
One of the major reasons why the Canon Pixma iP110 wireless printer is an ideal portable printer is because of its revolutionary wireless connectivity. The wireless connectivity adds an extra layer of convenience to the printer and enhances its portability. This printer is compatible with most mobile phones. You can print directly from your smartphone using the wireless functionality. Apple AirPrint for iOS, Android through Google Cloud Print, Mopria print apps are some of the supported mobile phone models.
Canon's mobile app, Canon Print, which is patented by Canon, is available on all smart devices. The app also allows you to access other helpful features related to this printer. You can print from the cloud with this app or simply check the remaining ink in the printer. This requires that you connect the device via Wi-Fi to the internet. This printer is equipped with a USB Port (B Port) to allow for wired connections.
Cons of Canon Pixma IP110
Battery Performance is below standard
The Canon Pixma iP110 wireless printer has a smaller battery than some of its competitors. Portable printers of this price range are capable of printing approximately 400 pages per full battery charge. Other printers such as the HP OfficeJet 250 & OfficeJet 200 are capable of printing up to 500 sheets per charge. The IP110, however can only manage 290 pages.
Uses Multicolour Cartridges
Even though this is not an issue for a basic portable printer, it is important to mention. Canon designed this device for multicolor cartridges. This cartridge type has only one disadvantage. If any ink pockets within the multicolor cartridge have emptied, it is mandatory to throw out the entire cartridge, regardless if the remaining pockets still have ink. This printer is not recommended for heavy colored printing jobs.
