The root of the word "man value" is a-m-n which means: to be calm and quiet (in one's heart); Protect from fear; Credibility and truthfulness [Taj-al-Urus]. Faith means accepting the truth, believing and verifying something, relying on something or having confidence. Faith is usually translated into English as belief or belief, and faith is proved without acceptance or argument or reason or thought or thought, knowledge or insight. According to the Qur'an, man is a belief that is based on reason and knowledge; A suffix that results in complete emotional acceptance and intellectual satisfaction; The kind of conviction that makes one feel inner contentment and peace. And a believer who accepts the truth in such a way that it ensures his own peace and helps him to maintain the peace and security of mankind. In fact, Al-Mu'min himself is one of the attributes of Allah Ta'ala (59:23). Allah has given a broad and objective definition of faith in the Qur'an: "To believe in Allah and the Hereafter and in the angels (the angels or the forces of Allah) and in the Book and in the Prophets." (2: 177)

The importance of reason in faith

The Qur'anic view of reason and its place in human life demands careful consideration. Man has been given a mind that enables him to think and is thought to build a system of knowledge through the intellect. Because it transforms the raw information provided by the senses into knowledge and the Qur'an determines the reasons for its important role in life:

َرِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِ عِندَ اللَّـهِ الصُّمُّ الْبُكْمُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

Undoubtedly, in the sight of Allah, the worst of all creatures is the deaf, the dumb who do not use their reasoning. (8:22) [Assad]

This is a graphic description of his decline when he does not use logic because of his service. The Qur'an tells us that this person not only lives a vain and desperate life here, but also disqualifies himself from the afterlife:

And there are many of them in Hell, from the jinn and the people, their hearts are not happy, they are blind, they are blind, they are not watching, they are not listening to the call to prayer, they are not listening,

“We have created for Hell many jinn and men: they have hearts with which they do not understand, eyes with which they cannot see and ears with which they cannot hear. They are like cattle, but more astray: for they are without doubt. (:: 199) [Yusuf Ali]

This is again emphasized in Surah Al-Furqan. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was addressed:

ْ ْ َ َ ّ ْ

Or do you think that most of them [hear your message] and use their reasoning? Rather they are like cattle - nor are they less aware of the right path! (25:44) [Assad]

The Qur'an expects man to think and use his power of understanding through his revelation or in the light of the guidance given by revelation from Allah. These two sources of direction, cause and effect expression and complement each other. If these are placed in their proper field, there is no conflict between them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was commanded:

قُلْ هَـٰذِهِ سَبِيلِي َْدْعُو لَلَى اللَّـهِ ۚ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ ََنَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي

Say [O Prophet]: "This is my way: relying on rational unconscious insight I call [all of you] unto God - me and those who follow me." (12: 108) [Assad]

It is clear from these verses that Allah (swt) has placed great emphasis on reason and intellect. God calls those who do not use reason worse than animals. Revelation from God means using it with reason and understanding to enlighten our minds and hearts and not to follow blindly:

Say to those who know, and those who do not know.

Say: "Are they equal, those who know and those who do not know?" (39: 9) [Yusuf Ali]

And above all, Allah says that even His verses should not be taken blindly. According to the Qur'an, the believers are:

وَالَّذِينَ ذِذَا ذِكِرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا

"And those who, whenever they are reminded of the messages in their series, do not become deaf and blind to them." (25:73) [Assad]

Thus, the Qur'an calls on all human beings to apply their minds (with a free mind, not with preferential, biased or preconceived customized thoughts) to the teachings and to make endless efforts to realize its meaning and logic. The following commands are for everyone (and not just scholars):

فَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ

"Then will they not try to understand this Qur'an?" (4:82, 47:24) [Assad]

"(This is) a Book (the Qur'an) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its verses and that the wise may remember." (36:29)

Thus, man values must be acquired individually which requires each of us to consciously strive for knowled
