Philippines is known for being a Christian nation and the issue about same sex marriage has been highly debated by scholers until today. LGBT rights has been little by little acknowledge by individuals and many members of the LGBT are turning out but some critics are still not agreeing to this because as I’ve mention earlier, we are in the Christian nation where most of the people only believe that man and woman are the only gender that exist. Same sex marriage is another issue that will cause another chaos within the critics eyes. This will largely affect the social ethics of the Filipino especially the youth for they might think that it is ok to to the society. I think, this issue will be a long debate on whether to accept or not. But we cannot just ignore that these LGBT are human too and they also have their right. As for now, respect is what we need, after all we are living in the same space.
