The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was passing by a garden one day (Medina or Makkah). There he heard the voices of two men being punished in the grave. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "They are being punished, but they are not being punished for any major crime." Then he said, "Do not hide one of them while urinating." And the second person would talk about one to the other. (Bukhari)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked us to recite this prayer before returning the salaam after tashahhud and darood at the last sitting of the prayer to avoid the torment of the grave. This supplication was narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):

Pronunciation: "Allahumma inni a'zubika min a'zabil qabri, wa min a'zabi jahannam, wa min fitnatil ma'iya-wal mamati, wa ming sarri fitnatil masihid-dajjal."

Meaning:" O Allah! Save me from the torment of the grave; Save me from the torment of Hell, and the temptation of the world and the temptation of death and the temptation of the Dajjal. "(Bukhari and Muslim)
