Ishmael was the eldest son of his father Ibrahim and the only child born to his mother Hagar. Ibrahim was 7 years old at that time. [1] As a child, his father Ibrahim (AS) left him and his mother in the desert of Mecca by the command of Allah. There, with the blessing of Ibrahim's Doa, the well of Zamzam was created by the special grace of Allah. Then, at the request of Ma Hajra, the Kafela Banu Jurhum tribe, a merchant of Yemen, began to settle there. At the age of 14, by the command of Allah, in the desert of Mina, not far from Mecca, a wonderful sacrifice and sacrifice in the history of the world took place. Whatever the role of the hundred-year-old father Ibrahim in the incident of his own sacrifice to his son Ishmael by his father Ibrahim, he himself was the only example of the faith and self-sacrifice of the fourteen-year-old Ishmael. It is doubtful whether the Father's sacrifice of the Son would have been possible if he had not voluntarily surrendered himself. So, even though he was not a prophet at that time, the identity of Ishmael's devotion and firm faith was revealed in his words and deeds. He then took part in the construction of the Ka'bah as an accomplice to his father, and after the construction of the Ka'bah, the prayers of the father and the son were recited by Allah in the Holy Qur'an in His own words.... In this way, Ishmael, like his father, has gained a permanent seat in the hearts of believers all over the world. In his praise, Allah says in Surah Maryam, verse 54, "He was faithful to his promise," which he reassured his father before the sacrifice,-‘O Father! Do what you are commanded to do. If Allah wills, you will find me among the patient '(Chaffat 36/102).....Then, during the construction of the Ka'bah, with the blessing of the Doar of the Father and the Son (Baqarah 127-29), first of all, the Tawaf and Salat and the worship of Hajj and Umrah have been going on for thousands of years in the Ka'bah. Secondly, there is always a huge stock of fruits imported from all over the world. The third part of their Doa, the sending of a prophet to the city of Makkah, was realized about two and a half thousand years after their death with the advent of the last Prophet Muhammad (sm) in the dynasty of Ishmael. Ishmael (peace be upon him) married a Banu Jurhum tribe from Yemen who settled in Makkah. One of their offspring, the Quraish clan, was entrusted with the dignified task of overseeing the Ka'bah. The arrival of the last prophet took place in this great dynasty....It is to be noted that the Prophet Ishmael (peace be upon him) has been narrated in 25 verses of 9 Surahs of the Holy Quran. [2]
Examples of reverence for the Father:
The following facts show how respectful and loyal he was to his Father. When Ibrahim (peace be upon him) went to see Ishmael after Hagar's death, he asked his wife for good wishes and she said, "We are in great need and distress." In reply, she said, "When your husband comes, greet him and tell him to change the door frame." Later, when Ishmael returned home, he heard the incident and said, "He is my father and he has asked you to divorce him." So Ishmael divorced his wife and took another wife. Later one day when the father came and asked the same question, the wife said, "We are in good and well-being and he praises Allah." Abraham prayed to God to bless their family. Then she said to him, "When your husband returns, tell him to fix the door frame and strengthen it." When Ishmael returned, he heard the incident and explained that he was my father. He has instructed you to remain in femininity. Ibrahim returned a few days after this incident. Then the father and son together built the Ka'bah. [3]
The first pure Arabic speaker:
The Prophet (sm) said about Ishmael,
Ishmael was the first to speak 'clear Arabic'. When he was only 14 years old. '[4] Here' clear Arabic 'means' pure Arabic language'. This was the Quraish language after which the Qur'an was revealed. This proves that all languages have been created by Allah through inspiration. Ishmael was the first inspired scholar of pure Quraish Arabic language. This is a glorious feature for Ishmael. That is why he was ‘Abul Arab’ or the father of Arabs....
If Ishmael, like other prophets, had received prophethood at the age of 40, then Ishmael's prophetic mission was centered around Mecca until his death. He invited Tauhid to the Banu Jurhum tribe. According to Israeli descriptions, he died at the age of 138 and was buried next to his mother Hajar. '[5] He is said to have been buried in Rukne Yamani in the Ka'bah. However, it is safe to assume that he died in Makkah....The greatness of Ishmael is that he was ‘Jabihullah’ i.e. one who voluntarily sacrificed his life in the way of Allah and he is the great ancestor of the last Prophet Muhammad (sm). May God bless him. He is mentioned in the biography of Ibrahim.
Who is Jabihullah?
There is basically no disagreement on that. Because almost all the scholars of Muslim and Ahl al-Kitab agree that he was Hazrat Ishmael (AS). For he was the firstborn of Abraham, and the firstborn of Hagar. He grew up in Makkah. He lived there and died there. The great event of sacrifice took place in Makkah. He never came to Ken. Father Ibrahim built the Ka'bah in Makkah with him....Isaac, on the other hand, was born about fourteen years after Ishmael in the womb of Ken Sarai Bibi Sarah. He is not known to have come to Mecca as a child. 133,38,40 in Surah Baqara of the Holy Quran; In Surah Al-Imran 64, Nisa 183, Ibrahim 39, Shaffat 100-113 verses, Isaac and Jacob are discussed after Ishmael. All Israelite accounts agree that Abraham was seven years old at the time of Ishmael's birth. At the time of Isaac's birth, Abraham was at least 100 years old and Sarah was at least 90 years old...The childless Abraham prayed to Allah in his old age for a ‘good child’. Like ‘O my Lord! Give me a righteous son.... '' Then We gave him the glad tidings of a patient son. '(Chaffat 36 / 100-01). And he was the first child, Ishmael. Then when Ibrahim returned to Ken'an after the incident of Ishmael's sacrifice, the angels came there.... Those who stop at Lot's house on their way to destroy the people and give glad tidings of the birth of Isaac in the womb of Sarah and the birth of Jacob in her womb (Hood 11/81).... After narrating the good news of a patient child to Ibrahim in verse 101 of Surah Shaffat, after narrating the incident of Qurbani, in verse 112, "Then We gave him the good news of the birth of Isaac who will be a prophet and will be one of the righteous" (Shaffat 36/112).... It is clear from the narrative tradition of these verses that the first child to receive the good news was Ishmael, who was sacrificed.... Then there was Isaac, the son of the good news. As Ibrahim (peace be upon him) prayed out of gratitude to Allah - ‘All praise is due to Allah who gave me Ishmael and Isaac in my old age. Surely my Lord is the Acceptor of Doa (Ibrahim 14/39).... Here he mentions the name of Isaac after Ishmael... In the above discussion it is clear that Yabihullah was Ishmael, the first son of Ibrahim.... The scholars before and after Isaac who are now called Yabihullah have largely relied on Israeli narrations. Almost all of which are taken from the narration of Ka'b al-Ahbar. This Jewish scholar converted to Islam during the caliphate of Hazrat Omar (R) and this man who is known as a Torah expert gives various distorted descriptions. It was just an expression of the Jews' perpetual hatred of the Arabs.... Because Ishmael was the father of the Arab nation. Who lived in Hejaz. And the last prophet Muhammad (sm) came in his dynasty. Isaac, on the other hand, was Jacob's father. Who used to live in Ken'an. And Jacob's other name was Israel. To which the children of Israel are related. As a result, the jealous Israelites wanted to change the word of God in order to snatch the honor of the Arabs and proclaimed the name of Isaac as Yabihullah instead of Ishmael. Which is just a lie and slander.
I know this story 😇 my mother said a lot time in my childhood. Jam jam water is most pure water she told me. I also know about the sacrifice topic. I always want to visit makka. Pray for me so that I'll go to Makkah 😇😇
