It's Friday again, that means it's another SciFriday @szbarnaus .
Last time ( https://noise.cash/post/1j3mw5p2 ) I made a draft about an intergalactic chat between to heroes, who enters to the metaverse. Today I sketched a story based on logs form an experiment, testing a new technology using time crystals... just for fun :D BTW I like the idea, so I might use this 1st draft to make something about it. Until then I'm open to your feedback.

#TBT pivoted to FlashBachFriday. I didn't wanted to just minimise the cards, because it has Shitake in it ... in Portugal! Can you imagine? I didn't, but I was amazed.
Flash rewind to Monday this week .... well, I din't thought it would be this much packed with work and activity. Same as we are exploring a new place when we travel. (And now Throwing back with a FlashBack)
As we are cruising on the streets soon, well more sooner than later we'll get hungry. So it's good to have a bite. Notjust to charge up, but to be there... That's why I choose todays topic (as I noise my Portugese memories, part 2) the food, the taste. I'm doing it chronologically, not as importance... so there will be some other must try flavours in the upcoming parts as well. So I invite you to a walk with me:
Imagine that we just hopped from the plane in the morning, we checked in, washed down, changed up and head out refreshed and curious to explore. As an entré for a gourmet trip to explore the Portuguese cuisine, specially the northern part, Porto... I would suggest a bite from a great ham sandwich in the first day. You can choose with or without cheese... I would suggest a light one, so without the cheese ... to savour the salty, meaty and fatty flavour of the Iberian Ham. Is well known if you tasted the Jamon in Spain, and that's why is a light step to go deeper in the flavours. Trust me, don't jump in the very Portuguese flavours right on the airport (or anywhere you go) ... train your tongue first (oups ... sorry ... this sounds quite lush, lickerish if you will, but not like that) train your tastebuds first, to sense new depth of flavours. To remember (at the moment) unknown tastes. A good exercise is to first taste a familiar but different first. Hence the Ham with a sip of dry wine :D
But if you are a vegan, don't worry, there are tons of choices for great tastes as well: all kinds of mushrooms, quality vegetables and varieties of nuts with great taste and textures.
In the middle of the day, let's take a lavish rest in the Ribeira (the riverside) watching the majestic scene, the high class of the Luís I Bridge (designed by Gustave Eiffel) over the Douro river, connecting the city Porto with Gaia. At the construction it was the longest in double-deck metal arch bridge in the world! But just sit back, relax and when the waiter comes say the magic words: an espresso and a glass of red port. Feel the breeze, taste the chocolate taste from the great roast, and after a sip of fresh water, involve with the sweety, warmy, chilly taste of sweet flower cloud with woody tannin, and buttery cherry.
How does it sounds for a first day or two? After recalibrating to being present, head out and taste the local products, feel the textures and enjoy the heavenly new tastes. And always choose a local wine! :D

After blue as the sky, here comes Green as the lush landscape, forest... but let's get back to the streets and spot some escaping flowers... I mean PLANTS, because in this part I transition for "Escaping Plants". I choose only one flower ... the raspberry which I spotted in June as it was escaping through a metal fence, and a quite dense obstacle of dried bushes near a road.
As I mentioned in my last part (check out the series if you missed it> https://noise.cash/post/1k3krqww oh, and thank you! >D) in this project I'm looking at plants, flowers in urban environment. I like how they adopt to certain places, how they twist and push through small gaps, under fences, over the obstacle... always remembering us that every time, when the situation looks problematic, slowly but surely, will find a solution for it and we'll bloom.
Do you like Green as the lush landscape, the dense forest, the climbing BCH charts :D ?

TBT day again, and I promised that I'll NoiseIn today ... so here I am. Nine years ago (I simply can't wait another year to be stylishly a decade later to tell you)
Our Thursday story starts with a phone ring. I received a call to meet for coffee. It was Tuesday morning. By noon I was sipped already from that coffee and received the message. It would be lovely that in two days to be in Portugal. I've just flashed in my mind that OK so I have clean 2 trouser 4 shirts and If I need some more... I'll dry them through the train window in the way to the airport (BTW the most time consuming part of every journey - more on this later, we don't have the time at the moment, we have a plan to catch).
I always love to plan ahead, but luckily this journey show me that I'm capable to impromptu solutions as well. After one small sleep and some issues I dealt with... I found myself wondering about Portugal on a night train. Although I always was interested in geography and I knew one or two facts about the Iberian peninsula and about PT in particular... somehow I never was interested in visiting the country. I was rushing to a meeting on behalf of an NGO... to discuss the details and organise an entrepreneurship workshop in Amarante. The north of Portugal. As I was dashing in the night towards the early TAP flight, I searched for alternatives routes from Lisbon (my 1st destination) to arrive until supper to the destination in time (because I decided I never late ... and I'm enjoying practicing this for a decade now) thinking about this I looked to my watch and as I saw I have still 3 hours train ride, I took a tiny nap, just to refresh ... "I'll sleep on the plane"I thought... (at that dawn I still didn't realised this phrase will be my friend for the upcoming years almost every second month ).
I don't want to steal your time... way better Noisers are here than me... so I'll come back in a week with a new part. All in all it was a lovely, adventurous quick ride. Everything was settled and I was looking forward to the workshop in two weeks time, from the end of August to the middle of September. But back to the beauty of this country. After I tasted the Pastel de Nada, gulped the lovely espresso and heard the zizzing, shisshing mood on the streets I fall in love with Portugal. So much so, I had to return four more times to enjoy the lifestyle, the tastes and the strong Atlantic breeze (well, it's a strong wind...) but more on these as they follows.
But for now I just show some Noisecards form the ancient street of Amarante, a lovely view from Porto and a great view (at least for me) from the train window and I'll come with more detail about small stories what happened next when I settled down for a while to enjoy the program. Like Shitake farm near Amarante, trip in Guimarais and cycling through a couple of villages.. So still to come.

I promised I'll show some more shots from my "Escaping Flowers" collection. Now I played a little bit with the blue colours, tones.
The key to my running project is to take a good look on the adventurous life of plants and flowers in the urban spaces. As I mentioned in my last Noise (in case you missed it> https://noise.cash/post/1x9wkqw0 ), the "escaping" idea came from the anxiety from the last years lockdowns and the constant questions regards job losses, struggling businesses and the confinement, hopelessness and inertia from the mood of the empty streets.
Seeing these vibrant, energetic flowers in these environment I think it adds to the optimism and to the gratitude to make every life a little bit brighter and better. If you can appreciate those colours, those glorious structures and energy through these plants and makes you smile... this project is not in vain and I'm coming with a new part next Tuesday.

"Put that frog down at once!" did you heard this phrase often when you were a kid? (or these days) well, you're like me: every vacation was just another collecting expedition as an Amateur Naturalist (I was accepting every advice from Gerald Durrell how to catch insects and collect artefacts from nature). That said... I've just find out (that I never heard until now) about the series "The Durrells" based on his trilogy of his memories from Corfu. Also I'm eager to reread his most entertaining book> "My Family and Other Animals". But even the well packed, fact based book of his "The Amateur Naturalist" is entertaining. Don't you agree?
Now back to our Noise, what I wanted to whistle about... look what I've just found. After a night storm, regular Summer phenomena, every naturalist can found a bunch of small creatures and items under the trees. So as I. Instead to smuggle them in my room (as in the heroic old days) now I've just captured them [in situ].
So I started the week with a new PhotoStudy: A collection of objects, creatures, parts from the Natural World, found on the pavement after a summer storm.
I always wanted ... well, I always had a sort of Cabinet of Curiosities. Also I loved the biology laboratory with it's grand collection of specimen in my school years. So I was always on the hunt to find something interesting. Once I captured a pretty large grasshopper to show to the class when we return to the school... I packet well and carefully in my sweater and put it in to my bike's trunk or whatever... But as I arrived home and i've jumped down from my bicycle... all I've found it was a giant hole on it (I'm talking about the sweater). After some chat with my mom about why am I so careless and BTW other issues ... I was planning some kickass GrasshopperTrap ... but the project was dismissed due to other activities in the upcoming days.
A glimpse to my vacation and little moments, tricks on how we can spice up our daily, 'boring' walks with some nature observing and collecting.
Still to come> tomorrow another part of my Escaping Flowers, new Noise Experiments and I'm about to open that ancient folder with my trip to Portugal, which will be on Noise on TBT. Until than Wish you a stunning SummerWeek!

Go for it" so I procrastinated a quarter on it, not thinking about it ... at all, but I keep loving Noise even more... so as I decided I want to be more active and I want to experiment with this idea too... I thought, what could be better time than a SciFriday (I'll change the name if you don't like it).
It's the Noisecard before the first draft... So I'm looking for a format in which I can tell a story, or a world in a SciFi universe limited on 5 cards (as the upper limit to the uploads on Noise) So that's it.. It's #TBT again (whoa, this weeks fly so fast...) so I remembered and realised that times in general flies quite quickly... it seems the Cool Summer Breeze it not soo lovely after all.
Anyways.... back to TBT issues> I like it or not, I remembered that almost a decade ago on this day I didn't had a clue that in a couple of days I'll end up in Portugal and changes my mind about certain things.... (stick around if you are interested... Oh, yes, spoilers> next TBT Noise will be about that story, project and until then I'll dig up some shots from the trip).
But today I found another photo. A lame one, a rather boring morning... no a morning boring shot... well, I can't decide, so let me know in the comments what do you think. The fact is, that about a decade ago on this day (approximately... it wasn't weekend for sure, but it wasn't in the middle of the week either, so it had to be on Thursday, don't you think?) ... so I made a shadow-portrait. Yes, that one on the thumbnail (*Noisenail!) and I started to experiment with this format on my photographs. I realised I became more interested in shadows, reflections and lights in my photographs, so whenever I was able to, I searched for this phenomena.
I even Noised one back when I was figuring out what is this (lovely) Noise ... (here>https://noise.cash/post/lxj09m4z )
Quickly I choose some, from my ongoing projects... and I'll make a series, rather story about this... I kinda find it interesting.
Shadows in photography has a huge part... especially in prints. Cyanotypes for example (aka the classical blueprints) doesn't require a camera just shadows and a photo sensitive material. The printing process with the end results of the classical blue photogram. The classical subject were plants, solid objects, figures.... so this is why I'm experimenting with the idea with completely modern gears> the background as a textured space on their own and shadows as clear as possible. (On cyanotypes the object is placed right on the surface, and often pressed by a glass - if you are making print from a plant for example.)

About a month ago I was Noising my ......., when suddenly in the tender silence @seaticket just smashed in my universe with his Noise about the new Season Rick and Morty.

Anyways... back then I saw the trailer right up and I wanted to wait for at least 4 episodes and a nice weekend so I can grab some beer and binge-watch that S*nofAB1tch Rick Sanchez having fun in the multiverse.
I was wrong... I watched the first two episodes and immediately after that I'm waiting for the next ones to pop up. It's like a toxic friend... who sometimes come over with a beer (a single one for himself) and after 5 beers decides that he should stay overnight, cause he's got a story... which a couple of times is quite funny but sometimes yikes... it's disgusting and quite much.... but you always hear it through... cause right before you want to trough him out... here comes a nice one, a good one, a good old funny one, and back again.....
Somehow these are the moods of this multiverse sitcom which in a way has clever SciFi world building, but it's really great against stress, frustrations and grey commuting. So I love it!
I thought I will write about this a little more.... specially because space travel adventures, multiverse jumps were always dear stories to me since I tasted the wonders of SciFi... but with this huge amount of adult spice it's a toxic one... which in a way is good.
You know.... like that extra spicy chilly hot sauce which is like hell.... but what the hell, you push down anyway....

I started a photo-project last year. A couple of great photographers just rushed to the empty streets and made stunning photos, so "why should I?"I thought... and although I snapped some photo stories about empty streets, empty trains.... I became more interested with the nature int he urban areas. Plants in cities, urban areas, plant shadows.... these interests me constantly so I try to make studies all the time during commute.
Also, as I walked on the empty streets I realised some of the flowers are popping out through fences. In a Noise last week (https://noise.cash/post/137rpk09 ) I asked if you are interested about this project ... and I'm happy you mentioned that you are in the comments.

Still a lot to enjoy from the Summer Breeze, Hot Sun and the Buzzing Beaches. If you are stuck on the mainland, far, faaar form the cool BeaCH as myself ... worry not my friend: drop those 'e,a's from the beach and stick to your BCH! It'll grow much comfortable (as Octavian showed the direction quite some time before ... see? I told ya! ).
Anyways... I start to become optimist regards the crypto markets.... but if in any case, the prices will still laying in the sand somewhere on some BeaCHes...
That wouldn't be a problem for us either... so cheer up, Noise Up and have a great New Month ahead! Wish you a great start of the harvest period! >D
As we come closer to end this month (I've just started to like July) I look at the calendar, and oh... it's TBT again. So I figured out, while I have some things to do in the town ... why not run to the street and look at that Lilly that escaped form the fence.... (you remember I shared those two shots form 2020... if not> https://noise.cash/post/1rwgxkzp ).
Wondering if it will escape and shine through the fence towards the street I arrived to the place.... and IT DID! Made me smile, worth the D-tour. The lights wasn't great to recreate the mood plus this would be boring taking another same photo of it... but I'm thinking maybe I'll find another way to recreate the mood.
Last year I made quite some flower shots about escaping flowers.... It was really the hope to escape from the pandemic, the stressful life and from the anxiety we all ended up...

In the meantime I started to write ... well finish already some article and wrap up my stuff ... I have notes and ideas all over the places ... like that flowerhead trough the fence ... so time to get neat and done.

Usually I fall down the Rabbithole, if we're talking about Noise.Cash and I love it. As long as I see the red little bell, I know that there are valuable Noises from you, so I'm about to comment it, or at least give it a filled up, full loved heart to your effort.
Lately I realized, Sunday, somehow is off the record. I just chill, take a look on the Sun beyond the forest... that's my weekend relax. And by the time we slow down till Saturday, I feel I had enough with the bentos, and small lunch boxes (although I like them).
I have a great Noisy friend, a Chef you all know (If not, check him out> https://noise.cash/u/Fufilur ... Even if you know him, check him out anyways.... he always cooks something great) so I'm not gonna brag about my cooking ... just show s couple of shots of my Sunday Supper I made, because this time, it was a special one (not from the gastronomic point, but because of significance)>
A "simple" Rabbit Roast, just to end the rabbithole thing here, on Noise.... I've not received any chips in the last week ... so that means, I'll focus on more Noising than commenting. Of course I'll comment, just within schedule ... I need structure to not get lost ... yeah, Noise is fun, and time is the enemy of Fun ... you know the deal.
Anyways... the rabbit in question was breed, raised with love, respect and appreciation and care from a small family farm... and this appreciation for nature, quality food was never stopped for a single second up until the careful preparation of the meal.
All ingredients came within 10 km of my kitchen. (except the salt and pepper ... they came from the groceries, and beyond the forest ... the rest of the spices though were handpicked by me) this is I think we should treat ourselves sometimes... with food more than delicious, more than comforting... but filled with soul and energy.
The rabbit was layed on fresh marjoram and oregano flower bed, which gave a tender, smokey, summer breezy aroma to the clean cut .... and the roasted potato balanced out, so all I had to do, just grab a nice, chilled beer and enjoy the feast as the birds were singing to the beat of the river.
So Monday came, and I hope I can came up with meaningful and joyful Noises (no matter of tips or what). I also hope your weekend was recharging, relaxing .... still to come in this Summer, so smile, Noise and have fun!

In todays #TBT I just want to mention that, it was soooo Fu%#1N6 HOT today, as last year exactly on this day(s) somebody just run over of a traffic sign somewhere. But it was quite hot before that year .... and before that... and so on. Except of course a decade ago, when I jumped up the second time to the beach in Kołobrzeg. That day was still freezing so no swimming (I post it about the first time I visited the place in May, remember? Anyways, winter was long this year, but the middle of July nailed the summer thing again, don't you think? What do you think, will the heatwave go further up? How about the BCH prize?

I was thinking, as I threw myself back to earlier times, about a great video game I played. This has multiple layers, because I’m interested in the gamification concept and this time I started to put pen on paper to write some useful articles, materials about the concept, but it’s fun to design a system for me, so whether or not I’ll finish it’s worth it. (Please, tell me in the comments, if you are interested or not - that way I’ll finish it for sure or I don't mention it anymore .D).
Another layer is that I like video games, simply just for fun. But I didn’t have the time to fully emerge in one, so I rather just take a peek into the story and art of it … and I stuck with collecting. So this is why I started a business with the idea to talk about collecting these things… because they always were and nowadays became even more relevant.
But anywayZ, this is quite a funny and interesting thing. I wanted to choose a game, which was designed for the iPad, because mobile and tablet games are not open to retro game collecting as far as I know due to the format. I can easily pick up a GameBoy and play Tetris or whatever... but there are quite some early games on mobile, which are faded in tech history forever. But those are important as well... don't they, what do you think?
Back then, I had a white iPad2, and well, it was quite new, so I was always searching the App Store, like news. I saw something, I just downloaded, tried and if it was a keeper ok, if not I deleted it.
One day a company, Hammer&Chisel launched a MOBA for tablets, called "Fates Forever" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qscs6ezrEE ) I knew DOTA, so I expected something great form this as well. We had great LAN parties in the university, with food and beers in the middle of the summer in a dark room… well, fun memories for another time.... but all of a sudden, this fun experience was on the tablet, and it grabbed my attention, and it turned out it had great graphics, and cool sound, and magical characters… and 'oh shit it's 10 o'çlock already?!' (you know the feeling...)
I remember it was quite a weekend .... a friend gathering was cancelled, and after a really hot week, there was a huge raining all weekend - so I played mostly. I was hooked to my iPad with this new game. I had to wait 5 minutes on the loading screens, soo much fun.... BUT this is not the story! And I'm sorry I was chitchatting here, so the story is quite interesting, and maybe I’ll write an article about this, because> it turned out, that Hammer and Chisel is called Discord today! … and because the game didn’t was a success - I think the launch was still early - they pivoted to other solutions … this is why entrepreneurship, the world of gaming can be so inspiring. Although the MOBA didn’t become a success, Discord is popular.
So in today's TBT, I want to remember that YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP (and I'm quite on low level at the moment in life, business and energy, so bear with me, OK? ) there are great games, great mediums in every format out there…. so you never know how long you can play with them. There were even some games (Shadowrun: Hong Kong for example) which I bought and due to lack of free time, I kept in my game folder to take a look later.... and one day, it was taken down... Bummer!
What early games you still remember on a tablet, or phone which is no more? Did you play 'Fates Forever?' BTW - the title says it all… Good job there….
Noise is a perfect place to be because in the meantime I made this silly noise, I realised how many noises I still have to do … so let’s get to work!

Still enjoying the heavenly smell of that quality leather, as I open my new journal and thick the task of what I've just done. More precisely I make a small box around the dot and paint it with a smile. I've become addicted to bullet journaling almost as much as to Noise.Cash...
Still, a lot to do, because there are days when I didn't open my notebook at all. Yeah, you guessed it> there is no day I don't open Noise.Cash and see what's on Earth are My lovely, noisy, happy little rapscallions are doing, again! >D
Back to my journal, if you allow me. This is the present I've bought for my birthday and I mentioned earlier. It's a simple but magical leather journal, made by a small business from Vienna. Quality Italian leather and great paper refilling to them. And yes, I paid entirely with crypto - but there is more in the story so briefly, I'll tell you the significance of this purchase.
I like paradoxes or at least quite strange pairs to things. The journal is an absolute primitive tool (I mean it in the best possible way) moreover I paid for it in a futuristic way. Although there are a ton of app for writing some great lines (and I used a ton of them, I even wrote articles about using them)... after a decade, I remembered the simple pleasure of writing manually with pen and paper.
I mentioned before what other mobile phones I used (you find it here> https://noise.cash/post/1rn3nv8p ). I always loved the technology and I still love it, don't get me wrong... but I realised after tapping the glass on the smartphones and tablets, that's something magical about the real buttons. That's why I switched to a Blackberry Passport for a brief time.
The tactile feeling is a must for me. Maybe, because I'm a man. And I like grabbing things. Although I'm involved in futuristic thoughts, and theoretical work, a well build pocket knife, an axe still gives me joy when I'm working in the garden, or I've got an itch to build things, do things or simply just destroy things because I'm sick of it and it's time to rebuild again. This time in a much better way.
Also, no matter how many gadgets I have, and how much I love the newest and brightest piece of technology, a classical object for a simple task is more appealing. Maybe, because of the craftsmanship that goes in it, or the quality of it... Or that I know, it will have a long life in my bag, on my desk. Just a thought, a silly thing really, but these small things sometimes have so many values, even more than fancy equipment... and with the patina, and scratches after a long period of time... even more noble and interesting. Don't you think?

I wanted to Noise on the1 st of July, celebrating summer and remembering that there is a new month, a new way to make our dreams. I bought something for my birthday last week, with crypto of course... and I'll share it with you soon, but let me just greet July as soon as possible.

(al)So,TBT and Movie Flashes>>> I want to kick this month with a good old movie I liked in university ... it was made in the year 2000, but I saw that only a decade later, but in the perfect timing in our lives. It's directed by Fatih Akin (a talented director on the European scene) with actors like Branka Katic popping on the screen.
Of course, it is a love story, a road story ... what other can be with this title? ... classic July...

At least a noise on TBT, I thought, so I jumped. At the moment I'm working on an article... well, a series of articles about our travels, trips (I mentioned earlier in this noise: https://noise.cash/post/157zqp3z ). I'll publish them soon.
Anyways, when I was looking at my old shots, I found this one. I took pictures of the sculpture in Basel, which was exhibited during the Art Basel 2015 in the Parcours section (if you would like to read about this event in details, just mention it in the comments, I'll be glad to share!)
So the sculpture is artist Ugo Rondinone's work, the title is The Gracious ... which is a perfect title, looking to its 10 m height. As this stone figure was standing ... well ... graciously - looking over the tiny people on the Münsterplatz (the city square near Basel Minster church or Basler Münster in german - # stunning place BTW!) I enjoyed the contrast of the massive, standing monument and the flow of people around its legs. Furthermore, I spotted this 60s Ferrari near the terrace. Spot on condition, gorgeous colour, a perfect example of old elegance, old value, and why collecting gives more to things in the long term. Sure, this car was a great piece 60 years back, but today it has another level with its rarity, remaining fewer and fewer pieces in the world.
The sculpture, with otherwise simple material, the raw, powerful mass will always be remembered as the giant from Basel Parcours 2015, and almost everybody who saw this sculpture will remember the sight.
As I was sipping my coffe looking at the car and the stone giant, I was thinking about the immense range of levels in collecting. You can collect exotic cars, but if you manage to hold on to it, there is a chance to become much more valuable because of your input, your memories. You can collect art, but you can be the buyer of this particular sculpture as well (maybe you lock the memory, the energy of the buzzing street and put it in your park, where the Noisest fellas are the birds, tweeting about horticulture...). Or, and this is the true beauty of collecting, you collect postcards ... documenting your trips, events, memories... so there is no need to a lot of money, or simply, any money really.
I remember Coco Channels words: "The best things in life are free. The second best things are very, very expensive". When we realise the depth of this philosophy, we can live fully. Memories can charge up the things we buy, collect, we appreciate. I mean, why own a car, if you can't relax and take it on an adventure across unexplored roads?
And that moment, I finished my coffee. Time to go away.... tall :D keep exploring, keep hunting for other memories. Oh yes, but first the bill.... that coffee worth it, because I remember that particular cup of coffee under the giant.

The long daylights are here to stay for a period, and the heat, so a great time to cool down in those shadows. But this year, the heat was missing until now ....

Another week just passed by and I thought at least let's drop a TBT noise for you, lovely, noisy, happy little rapscallion! (:D)
oh man, I really need to focus on noise/writing/sharing more, I guess... Anyways, I've got a ... something on Facebook about memories on this day and such, and I saw this photo staring on the screen. I shared this 10 years ago. Back then, Facebook still was a thing... similar to Noise, but (hehe ... just wishes to be NOISE ... > Noise is AWWsome!).
OK, now let's tell the (secret) story here: it was the last week(s?) of the exam period. I was doing my Masters Degree. After finishing the workdays I studied, so far simple, usually life. [Fade in]
I've just got home: switched the lights, clicked the files, I popped the cork and get to work.
Yes, the wine was great and also my grades (they say I was a nerd, well I've just loved the issues...) but at that particular evening(s), I was rather thinking about that girl... no, not about her, the other... yeah... that was the problem. I wasn't a good boy (poor little boy) ... What a mess, like my desk... Hence the devil on the bottle...
Well, long story short: the skirt was short, the smile was long and the chit-chat got longer, so I stayed. Just a glimpse of my ordinary life on the 17th of June, 2011 after a decade. Huh... Photos are great to remember silly things!

I looked at my Noise posts and I realised that I left you in silence... I didn't Noise for a week, Oh My! That must be handled immediately ... so let's see what day it is. Throw Back Thursday it will be, and suddenly I realised how I miss travelling, don't you?
June was full of travel and fun for me for almost a decade. Although sometimes I left because of work, I enjoyed every second of it (mostly) and I captured the moments diligently. June was for the Be(e)s > Basel, Berlin, Bucharest in the hunt for Art, Knowledge and simply just mingle in the crowd. It was usual and I loved it. We looked at the Biennials, art fairs and the side exhibitions or conferences... I started to look at my notes, and photo captures like in the thumbnail, from 2016, Berlin (particularly). That Biennale,the 9th one was my favourite.
(the shot I made about that pop up performance, it wasn't part of the biennale, just a street photo). Are you interested why in details? I'll write about the experience, about some artworks and some great tips for attending these events in the future (at least, based on my knowledge). I remember on Thursday, exactly a year ago ... ease after the first quarantine. Still frightened, but with hope to see a better future... we rushed out to the fields, nature to gain energy for the rest of the unknown. We didn't look into each other eyes, just to keep focused on the distance.
I took this photo to remember the day... It was a lovely day, warm and full with cents from the millions of flowers. A long-needed and wanted feelings after escaping our rooms.
This year, fortunately, a little bit comfortable as we leave our masks in our pocket (on the streets at least) but we still wait for the lush flowers, the millions of colours. It's freezing compared to the usually June start.
But Summer is around the corner, I know it's coming, and so is the end to this frightening era. Just hang in there, smell the flowers, see the summer approaching and feel the growth, energy of what's coming with a better future. If there are clouds, just smile, because only sunshine will come after. If there is wind, just sail to the better waves! :D Just the best wishes!

This year, May put a spell on me. I was inspired by the blooming spring, buzzing bees and the wonder-smell all over. The flowers, plants and the blast of the foliage made a great subject for taking some photos here and there.
I mentioned to you before, I quite like sending postcards every time I'm somewhere... and I've got an idea to make something here on Noise.... And due to the nature of the platform, for me, Postcard, or Noisecard is quite a form for this ... and I begun to get used to this lovely community.

My favourite month (if you ask me). The colours become more sparkling... new flowers appear and there are still 3 weeks until summer! The heat is around the corner, but no so harsh. (I know, It depends where is your suite on this lovely SpaceShip called Mother Earth....) But we can still manage it (don't we? .D)
A great time to reflect on the first half of our year. Did you check your goals for this year? Are you replanning something? I thought... this is a great time to boost up my productivity... so, although I was chillin' today... I made some adjustment at halftime... just to be on the right track.

I never really liked May. But as the green, lush nature woke up, shoving us the endless colours and patterns, smelling the perfumes of the flowers, buzzing up the work of the bees... I kinda liked it.
So I took some photographs (even if this was a cool, rainy version of the month this year.) I'll share some more if you'd like.

I know, I feel this too… but those lazy summer days are a couple of weeks ahead. Luckily everything is buzzing and blooming. Except me, I was chill, like a fresh, sparkly-hoppy beer, with drops running down on the neck….
The dinner was roasted Lemon-Chicken with crispy potatoes and heavenly Tzatziki sauce and of course a simple, fresh beer. I usually when I don’t want to try out new things, I go with my favourite brands…. this is the Summer One… I made a (pre)taste.

Today is Towel Day. I should say 42 things for answering why I choose to noise about this> but let me be short. I love SciFi and Douglas Adams great adventure, the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy was (a couple of times already) a treat for my mind. Not only, the stunning humour and the great world is filled with great characters, but it's fun and pure adventure.
If you didn't read it, it's a perfect opportunity this week. Preferably, grab a towel, head to the nearest beach... or if you are stuck on dry land (as me) head to the nearest bench. Sit on your towel and read it all in once.
Today was a crazy day... but after last week how crazy can be, right? Anyways... just Don't Panic! read the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. And remember: you always have to have a towel with you!
That been said, yes, you can watch the movie too, if you really hate books... but don't forget the towel! OK?
