Looks like #TBT will be made the same fashion as one week earlier (https://noise.cash/post/l9n4z03r ). Still running around the clock to catch up with the office/business side of my life ... but so much better in the hunt for free time. Funny story real quick: I updated my MAC to the shiny macOS Montery about two days ago... but just tonight I started to see what's new. Anyways ... the funnier part of the story, that my macbook pro ... not realising in the years... well become the last model compatible with this OS ... so there is the possibility that being 6 years old... in the next update I'll be unable to update. So far, everything is snappy, sharp, every program works just fine, so workflow couldn't be better on this. SO i've made a new challenge for myself: I'll buy my new mac with 100% crypto (or any other laptop ... I use the tool, I'm not a fan guy ...) ! Who's with me? In the meantime ... I realised that one of my followers disappeared ... or just left me (reading the numbers. Well, not that I'm watching the numbers... just I've noticed.) In any case... Please, come back: 🎶 https://youtu.be/Yete0n6TLug See you tomorrow! Night! >D

@szbarnaus

#SUNday you say ? ... yeah ... #weekend ended like a short espresso in the cold Monday morning. Speaking of ... how was your week and did you enjoyed the end of it? Next up we might have rain ... November Rain (remember?) So ... sit down for a sec poor a glass of fire on ice and just listen to this> https://youtu.be/8SbUC-UaAxE Charge for a great week!

@szbarnaus

I mentioned in my previous #TBT Noise (https://noise.cash/post/1kw9nwmz) that I was in Lisbon to attend the WebSummit. So to close this flash back to the fond memories, I picked some Noisecards to share. Somehow, mostly because of procrastination or simply I wasn't sure that somebody would be interested in my experience, I never posted these photos up until now. After I returned, follow up on the promising projects and prospects... not much, but truth be told: I was there mainly to cruise and browse and learn. Not just as a futurist practice to test some earlier ideas ... but I like to flashback to previous meetings, conferences like this one ... and sometimes I spot fascinating details in my diaries and track records I made. Some promising, at the time stunning startups fell short, or promising technologies in a backflip. By doing these I end up with some promising plots to SciFi shorts. That is why I choose to tell you mainly about the human experience of this event. The jam-packed, draining schedule and the hustle and bustle for the ultimate hyper-productive virtual badge ... is overrated. But you can fall into the trap of this efficiency. I tell you what I mean by this: I made quite a loaded program for myself by picking the most promising presentations and talks. Luckily I had experience from these kinds of events... that heading to the main stage and listening to the big presentations (in my opinion at least) not worth it> these are uploaded to YouTube, so you can check them up later. You don't have the opportunity to ask ... so by attending smaller stages is much more useful. [That said, let's have a break now and I tell you this> once I slowed down while I was running to another talk which can be missed ... so I cruised a little in the background of the huge arena ... to take some photographs and feel the mood. It was exactly the time when Sofia, the robot expressed her feelings> https://youtu.be/PDLhNO8zvwA . ] So part on my experience, but mostly when I saw the huge crowd ... I adjusted my schedule to attend smaller sections and remain seated and have a coffee in the breaks even if something in a particular topic (I was attending mostly the Finance/Business sections, Content Marketing talks). But the best choice was to mingle in the booth areas. Find business opportunities, promising projects ... and ask a robot for a coffee ... it was accompanied by a hostess, but pretty much handled the task >D So future is on it's the way. After 5 years passed quickly I have to say, most of the techs and ideas are still in development, still fresh ... this pandemic indeed made the mark in some other areas... but it's a different story for another time. Well, even my macbook is the same ... still going strong :D Now that I saw these old photos, I'm thinking I'll write some more about this from a futurist, business strategist perspective. Are you interested? What should I tackle? If you're interested in something particular... Noise your question right away :D That said... have a great Weekend!

@szbarnaus

Thank you for your patience ... as I was idle for a the last weeks ... I'm catching up slowly with my work and todo list ... so even I missed #TBT yesterday (https://noise.cash/post/l9n4z03r ) ... I'll FlashIN to a #FlashBackFriday Noise: flashing memories from the historical, nautical and cool HUB of Europe: Lisboa (Lisbon). I was quite a couple of times there... in sunshine and rain ... but this particular journey was for the 2016 WebSummit. So I'll write a little bit about my experience this evening... connecting my love of SciFi and Tech with this memory. Until then, enjoy my #noisecards . Showing the many sights and beauties from this city is quite a challenge... so without clichés (I hope, you tell me!), let's see some of the lights I captured there :D Did you were in Lisbon?

@szbarnaus

#TBT was a solid theme for me when it comes to Noise. I took out from the archive folders my photos to share some of them with you ... but It's getting late ... so first thing in #FlashBackFriday I'll throw a Noise back on these days ... when I was (again) in Lisbon. But this time (I mean that time) with a twist! See you with a coffee in hand soon...

@szbarnaus

What's Up, you asking? My Noisey week is Up and Running... thankfully! I missed a lot... because I missed You! Here what's happened> I was silent, because I was sick ... in bed and offline/off time. I thought a lot of time to jump in to Noise, but I rather was sleeping ... Full Noisey status will be regained in the upcoming days ... until then, I have a lot to do and comment under this little red bell up, right ... So ... we'll Noise later. Until then, feel free to comment here what I missed for a week? Wishing you a stunning week, I also mentioning the most important thing> Take Care! >D

@szbarnaus

Every time I kick with joy the leaves carpet on the streets in November ... after the vibrant festival of Autumn ... I look up to the clean, skeleton shapes of the trees. Simple, elegant ... strange, but it got me thinking... do we have leaves as well? I mean, in our workflow .... Looking at my processes, I found some redundancy, but most of all some methods, routines, which are not useful anymore ... or at least not as useful as it used to be. In this case, it's time to get rid of them. Similar to the tree's system, we sometimes need to get rid of our "leaves" - those routines which made terrific benefit in the summer ... but in order to clarify our work/mind/soul/life goals structure ... we need to leave them behind. If we do so ... we can see the damaged branches, the unnecessary ones ... so we can deal with them... and by Spring ... the essential leaves will pop up again. Stronger than ever! Are you getting rid of some habits as well? Now is the time! >D #NOWember?

@szbarnaus

I know that I promised you, about two weeks ago (noise.cash/post/l5k03v7k ) that if you are interested, I'll share more of my photos from Rome. And I will, but November was busy with trips as well ... so I'll try to do the throwback Noises time-compatible as possible. So in today's #TBT I have to show with you this gem, and I'll start right with my advice> if you're visiting Venice, you have to take a boat-trip to the islands: Murano (to see the glass arts and crafts) and to Burano (the tiny fishing village with the vibrant houses...). Most of the the time, we visited the Biennale in Venice (I Noised about this noise.cash/post/l74j0k0w and I'm super happy that you liked it ... so working on the future Noises about art installations, worthy paintings and interesting sculptures from the collections throughout the years ) but always payed some time to visit the city, the nearby scenery... Burano is a must, even if you stay just for a couple of days in Venice... I'll show you some photos from this trip ( 2015 late fall, more precisely ... 6 years ago ... I've just got home on this day). I hope you like it... As I was uploading these here I started wondering ... I might make an NFT collection with these entrance and windows variations ... I "collected" quite some interesting textures and colours during my trips. What do you think... worth the experiment with a style, story? But the most important question: Have you been in Burano? Will you? All the Best memories and throwbacks for you! >D

@szbarnaus

How do you KNOW exactly, what do you WANT from life? Now I KNOW what I really want from life, but this wasn't the case all the time. I thought I know what I want... but similar as I Noised earlier today, about the importance of priorities ( https://noise.cash/post/lxmw6k37 ) it was necessary to make a list, to CLARIFY my WANTs, separates my NEEDS from WANTs and just be realistic in the planning to achieve them. I find it quite interesting, that most of the time we get what we want, sometimes multiple times ... but if we are not specific, not focused what we are looking for, we meet that goal over and over ... not realising it, that is what we are looking for. (Hence the saying: "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it!") For example, if I wish just simply more money ... the first forgotten cent I'll found in my pocket or better on the street ... is "more money" SO my wish was fulfilled. Or if I go to the groceries, and I spot that my usual milk is 10 cent cheaper than it should ... technically I've got more money. Right? So why am I so stressed? Often times, because I didn't clarified the exact amount, or exact state I want to achieve. Let's be even more practical here> I can say I want more subscribers on Noise. Which is fulfilled each one of day, when somebody starts to follow my Noises... and it makes me super happy. But it has another meaning, a lot more weight and makes me more serious to achieve that and become more focused in making Noises if I say: I want 1k subscribers by the end of November. That said, a really important part of planning our life (and with it our happiness) to learn about ourselves. Now that we KNOW how can be more specific, we need to seek happiness from inside, form our mind and soul. How we define what we want, most of the time is really "simple" (but super cruel): think about the problems we want to solve (what do we NEED for that) and think about the state we want to feel (what we WANT in order to achieve it). In both cases... imagining our Future Self, what we have, what we look like, where are we and more importantly, what we know defines our steps we need to do in order to become that Future Self. If the future value is greater than the cost of our time and energy we need to invest in this venture ... it would be FUN. Just for extra safety I do this exercise from time to time ... usually a quiet weekend ... ( like this one for example ) this could change a bit the way we change. But as I saw ... only the list of stuffs and gadgets get shorter... We'll discuss more about this this topic... but now I'm curious: how do you define and KNOW your WANTs in life? #KNOWember

@szbarnaus

For quite some times, I made the mistake that whenever I felt that there is too much on my plate (too much tasks to deal with) I started to make the first thing first quickly ... but without checking if that task is the first one (the real one) to get done ... let me tell you what I mean by this. NOW I face a similar situation. However me make our plans, certain things cut through our agenda, or at least "steal"some extra time from our schedule. (That's we talked about this yesterday> https://noise.cash/post/1q42rzkg it's important to take a look on HOW we progress through a time period ... looking out for patterns to make them better). So I'm using my method that helped me a lot up until this day. If I feel stuck because I'm overwhelmed by a bunch of things to do and often times they have to be done by yesterday ... the best thing to do, is to have a BREAK and thought this through. Remember, this is also a problem of perception (https://noise.cash/post/lrpmq7j9 ). Similar as we are driving and we are lost. The simplest thing is to step on the BREAK, pull over, and think it through what is the next move ... otherwise we just consume time and fuel. Also the same in our everyday life: we just consume time and energy. Just have a breath and think for a moment. I made the mistakes by procrastinating on things, rescheduling some task and now they overlap each other. BUT I can't change the SITUATION NOW... so first, I'll find a solution for this, and learn the lesson after this is DONE. So what I used to do, is to write all my problems without an order to a clear paper (most of the time, the more important things what we feel are the most important, came first anyway.) After I'm ready, I must put this in order. This way I can see if my first thing to do is: 1. still a PRIORITY? 2. brings me real VALUE? 3. by not doing it, who pays the COST? After these questions, We came up with a new to do list, often time with additional COST (time, energy or money) but it's way easier than just hold that in our head and running all over stressfully. NOW is the time, to start. The rest keeps coming. How do YOU deal with extra stressful "lastest minutes" ToDo lists? Have a great, productive day NOW! #NOWember

@szbarnaus

Here's just a small DROP of thought: For years I was lazy to learn. I came up with excuses like "I don't have time when I arrive home to learn". That was a terrible attitude from myself and I made a huge mistake here: I lost quite some valuable time. Luckily I became quite uncomfortable, because I always loved learning. SO realising that I can't use the missed opportunity I felt quite a guilt. ( I remembered this today, because @frenchtoast78 Noised about this thought: https://noise.cash/post/l2n866v8 She's right ... missed opportunities are gone ... the new ones are other opportunities, so don't fool ourselves). Lesson learned> I'll never let another opportunity pass by. In the last year, after I'm constantly in search for the best and fittest schedule for myself ... I make every day an appointment for study - however short that would be. If I really don't have time ... I include a quick recap of a certain topic or skill I'm just learning. It might seem as a drop ... but drop by drop ... we can achieve quite some amount of knowledge, don't you think? Do you make time for learning too? What do you learn when you are short on time? #KNOWember

@szbarnaus

I loved your comments to my Yesterday Noise (https://noise.cash/post/lrpmq7j9) sharing your stories and habits regarding the wasted time, opportunities and control of it. Thank you for that! For me, it's quite enjoyable to practice this PLAN, ACTION and reAction whenever something occur in my daily plan. I'm far from being perfect in this... but the journey is offer more adventure than the destination. Rigth? NOW as we hit the tick on the HUMP, I want to ask you about the feeling of being late. Or being left behind in our plan. Because it's just a feeling most of the time. Do you feel this as well? Sometimes ... { and I think this is more likely around a middle-point of a certain time. Let's call it a checkpoint (because it is...) like the #lunch if we are thinking about our day, or #humpday if we take a birds eyed view of our weekly schedule } ... when I see the missed tasks and I'm halfway, I get nervous and tend to push myself even harder ... but that is a wrong step ( as I learned ) most of the time. The first thing is simple (as we discussed yesterday) we accept the FACT that we're loosing SPEED, not TIME (remember? time has the same pace every day ... we just perceive it differently) so our reACTION doesn't always need to be just accelerating, and pushing our limits. Maybe there is a redundancy in our workflow, or an unnecessary task before a real important one... either way it's worth the moment to look again and loose something from our plate. Like throwing some sandbag from our air balloon to speed up and lift through that HUMP. What do you do or what is your advice for us, to speed up our productivity and to make changes NOW in order to get back control of our time and achieve a better result? #NOWember

@szbarnaus

I was enjoying today's Noises, the chat and comments about productivity, the proper way of using the moment for the better, and it that is the case ... turning obstacles into opportunities. (If you'd like, share some thoughts with us here> https://noise.cash/post/lrpmq7j9 ). That said... I often reflect on what just happened today, this week, a period... It's important to know you're on the right track in order to keep forward. As one example and method ... I do this by asking questions (similar as I Noised here> https://noise.cash/post/15k29zpm ). Also I use to check the checkmarks at the end of the day. Did I checked all my planned tasks? Can I do more ... but a lot of time I have some empty spots ... without the satisfying X-es. Why did I failed on that spot? Did I overload my day with tasks? Or I wasn't productive enough ... or I simply lost time (again). Why did this happened. So, these are the simple, but powerful questions that can push us forward ... but more importantly keep us on the right track. If we invest some time into these reflections, reviewing ... analysing every day and HIGHLIGHTing our steps (and missteps ) towards our goal ... we can improve our habits and balance enormously. One thing I learned quite hard (I didn't wanted to accept) is that we need to take small steps. Just one at a time. One task at a time, one X at a time. Even by this pace I leave empty ticks at the end of the day. So if I see that, I'll put on the next day's priority, or it might indicate that it isn't important really... And I'll check these progress weekly. How do you review your progress, what signs, diary, app do you use in order to KNOW your productivity, development, process ... what is important to you? BTW I started to leave out the X-s instead I make rectangles and I colour them as I finish the task, half if I'm just halfway .... The big black/blue boxes are more satisfying than the X-s at the moment :D I hope you had a great day ... let's have a stunning, relaxing Dream. X marks the spot, good night for now! >D #KNOWember

@szbarnaus

- Hey NOISE, "What do I have on Tuesday?" In other words, what should I do right NOW? Where should I invest my energy at the moment? I learned (and still in the painfully process of learning) about the costly side of ME wasting time I searched for solutions. Are you with me on this? OK, than let's think together: Raising uncomfortable questions and being honest to ourselves is the utmost important step to control reality ... more precisely OUR REACTION to the reality (this is crucial to accept). Most of the time, we can't change what's happening, for example we can't change the FACT that our train was late, or the next meeting is delayed and we have to wait for 1 hour more... BUT we CAN change our reACTION to this: Here's what I'm doing: I've got the message, and I pause for a moment. There is no gain in it if I become angry ... so I simply accept the new reality and I choose my reaction to it. Instead of being angry, stressing about the delay (let's stick to the example) I'll start learning new things by reading, or thinking about MY thoughts. The simple vow to myself, that I won't allow the obstacles change my plans is enough to harness the new opportunities what pops up, instead to waste time on obstacles. See the difference of perception here on that same event? Easier said than done... But the proper way is to develop a habit what automatically switchs us to the right task, or a system that save us from falling in decision fatigue. I use a bullet journal ... My bullet journal, that means I'm scheduling my daily activities into 3 parts of the day. (If you're interested, I'll show you some part of this in future Noises) But this, same as we are ... this, should be in a constant development. I find joy every day when I'm trying new things, adjusting my system and habits in order to eliminate the wasted time. Because WE are humans and there are tons of things what we can't change... just our reaction to it. And remember: just doing something for the sake of doing something ... if there is no pleasure in that ... it's a questionable activity... Instead take a moment, and if you don't have anything important to fill that time-slot ... take your book out and read. So good PLAN, ACTION and whenever somethings came up ... just focus on our reAction! That's all for NOW. What is your habit to eliminate wasted time? Do you carry a book in your bag as well? That said ... I wish you the best for today and no wasted time :D #NOWember

@szbarnaus

Before we progress towards our Noisey future, let me tell you about my other subject to this Month: I call it #KNOWember. {ember} is the key here, because as it's keeping the fire in itself ... smoldering silently ... so as our deep knowledge is capable to fire up every moment, when we give more material, more oxygen to live up for it's full potential. Kept, preserved energy ... and that's fascinates me with knowledge as well ... no strange analogy with fire-and knowledge down in history .... also ... fire always was a symbol of and knowledge itself. Without going into the depth of philosophy (well, speculation ...) my second theme for this month (first being productivity and being active in present, in the NOW without overthinking anything - check out here> https://noise.cash/post/l429v04m ) it is also important to analyse, study and reflect. (I'm happy that, when I made my sketchy Noise... experimenting and searching the good path to take content-wise, this https://noise.cash/post/15k29zpm Noise was well received by you ... so THANKs for that Too!). Speaking about tiny little he-art-s and feed-backs ... and also being consistent for a month, let's play around this idea and demonstrate (micro-version of it of course) the value of knowing your data and shaping your Noises around this information. //////// Average Statistics - Tiny Little Noisey Metrics //////// - the most active days and the warmest welcomes (hearts and comments) were in the weekend ... as being an avarage 33-35 interactions. The most silent day, as an average 10 interactions is Tuesday. (Hence the name>Lazy Tuesday - https://noise.cash/post/1j00x5vw ) ... but as we, together, with valuable comments turned it to a quite warm and meaningful conversations. And we'll have soo much more in this MONTH. (YOU [Agree] with me?) //////// COMMENTS //////// Every day I've got a comment, which was super motivating for me, and filled up my energy pack. Not to mention the motivations I've received. So I'm grateful for that. But I want to highlight the familiar usernames, and faces who are with me almost day by day ... and by remembering some earlier Noises, comments... makes this place warm and more valuable. I know, that is not a quest, not a competition, but I would like nevertheless highlight some Noisez Friends here, who were active and pushed me to leave the Silent Comfort zone. So I'll QR Gift the next(er/est) Noise based on their time and energy investment in this order: 1st place - 3USD 2nd place - 2 USD 3rd place - 1 USD ... and a bonus - 0.50 USD ..... So, let's play and have FUN: 1st place by motivating me and pushing me with her comments through 18 Noises of mine: Thank you @frenchtoast78 ! >D 2nd place by showing up, leaving good comments> @Pouki >D (13 Noises) 3rd place ... well, we need to split, because we have a head-to-head: @fufilur (in my 10 Noises) @XRayMan (in my 10 Noises) Super thank you for the QR gifters to my Noises ... BTW #TBT was the most valuable as it seems ... so I'm not cutting this out form my schedule. So thank you: @myklj999 @quizshow (being the most generous) @Pantera99 @frenchtoast78 @wickedsoul and @Inzimam1 ... AAAND as my #vinyljunkie firend @myklj999 was the most active (sending QR gifts 6 times) he'll receive my Bonus 0.50 USD gift. What a great Month to set on track! Do you agree? KNOW what you want and act NOW ... this is the motto for November. Let's have a Stunning one! Editorial note: resource for the ember photo (I didn't find mine) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ember

@szbarnaus

The morning Noise seems to be a grit but has a slight musicality to it as I hear a distant clink. I'd like to have a sharper sound on this and turn my head to catch up more Noise, but tender crackles pops up, as I'm crushing the frozen leaf-carpet with my early walk. This seems to be the normal from now on. As I rushed out to the misty fridge ... you know, the streets ... I quickly flashed backwards 24 hours> my iPhone and iPads gone already to the winter time, but as I'm turning the crown on my watch backwards an hour I can't help the joyful smile on my face as I've got "my one hour back" and also to see the "fresh" dial on my watch I find always lovely ... and I sip a good breath of warm, black coffee. Yeah ... Cozy thought dude ... but we got work to do, so I changed the cozy coffee smell with a lungful of fresh frosty air. The mornings will be cold from now on ... so let's embrace it, as every change adds something to look forward to it. Certainly, I don't want to compete with myself, especially after I Noised one time every day in October (https://noise.cash/post/l3jx69k5 ) more importantly, I don't want to fill with my selfish Noises our space, but I'll play with two category this month (playing with the "noise" of November) I'll come up with a #NOWember Noise and a #kNOWember Noise every day. I had and (I'm not as naive anymore as I used to be to know that) I still find myself overthinking a lot of situations, procrastinating on task and project steps ... so NOW is the time, to push it through... NOWember it will be the first subject for me, to practice, to have the momentum, take the moment and don't wait, just NOISE when I've got the idea and time. I hope yo'll be with me and you'll don't hold your comments back :D So let's have a greater Month, NOW! >D

@szbarnaus

October was a Success, and I'm really thankful for that. I made the decision at the beginning of this month (https://noise.cash/post/ln0rz6rx) that I'll be consistent and I Noise every day, no matter what. Although sometimes I was tired and clueless, I managed to came up with some meh... Noises ... but I was always supercharged by your comments. We'll have some more "lazy tuesdays" ahead of us, to discuss and make great Noises about subjects. But what comes next? NOW? NOWember of course. I said it can be soul crushing with the harsh morning mist and ruthless icy frost sometimes... but for now... let's enjoy the sunny days and the cool names. NOWember will be one topic for me when we hit [PLAY] to November ... KNOWember will be the other. How your October sums up and what are your plans for November? Hang around, because I'll tell you more about my plan tomorrow, until than ... just listen to this https://youtu.be/N0LZ20ppkNo and Cheers and Sweet Dreams! >D

@szbarnaus

HELLOW Noiser! SUNday is sunny and happy I hope... and some relax and FUN as some of us got a +1 snoozing opportunity in today, as we switched to the winter time... the interesting part is that, those who celebrate Halloween ... darkness will arrive earlier today. Just for the FUN of it, who'll watch some Halloween movie tonight? and more importantly what will be on the watching list tonight? What about Donnie Darko (as I suggested in this week> https://noise.cash/post/1rp8p7zj ) who's watching with me? Laters... Noiser!

@szbarnaus

Change of plans... Saturday work section got long, with an easy trip ... so turned out as a regular workday. But I made some time to enjoy the SUN and the clear blue sky. I made some photos as well... so I'll Noise about some mini-photo stories tomorrow. I'll work in the morning as well... so I'm not making pancakes... instead I'll Noise you in the evening ... and maybe we'll cling some icy glass, and celebrate the arriving of the New Month. What are you up to this weekend? I hope you'll relaxing and smiling... look at those leaves ... October (although started rainy, cold and grey) finally took the stage and enjoying the show!

@szbarnaus

This time I had some sketches, you know... I mean I made some time in the last weeks before I jump to Noising. Before that I just jibrushed (I used this word first time today, this is the second time... it's Fun. period!) I like to plan ahead, and if I have time, I even write the whole articles... but not on Noise. Mostly, because I was discouraged by the error message, when I was pasting from my text editor my own text... so I rather just write directly. Anyways... still a lot to learn, meh situations to get used to in this space... but as #SciFriday came, I'll write some thoughts about SciFi ... I wrote a couple of times about the when I started to like #SciFi (https://noise.cash/post/13wxvnk2) and I wrote a couple of ideas ... but never follow through. I left behind consistency and I was bored quickly at the end of the day. That because I'm a human ... And as humans, we tend to let our emotions to take charge in certain moments. This is I think the crucial part of every SciFi which elevates the success of a good written story in the genre. Science often times is abstract, is too perfect for human mind... so we need a playground to play with these new steps, new knowledge, to try on and see if we can get used to this. It's like Noise... you have to engage in it, to decide wether or not you'll like this in the long run, or what obstacles will pop up as we play with it... That's why I love Science Fiction. Hard SF more specifically ... because it helps to understand a concept from different angles, different storylines, and it allows us, to explore our humanity in an unknown world... so we can focus more on our characters journey. Let's see for example the movie Interstellar (directed by Christopher Nolan, music by Hans Zimmer adds a lot to the cinema-experience but) ... the real success of the movie is the fundamental human bond, the emotions between the characters ... always a common ground in any story... Or one of my favourite novel "Return from the stars" by Stanislaw Lem (I Noised about this, remember? https://noise.cash/post/1wrn9p4j ). The struggle to be a man after spending a century in space (based on the increased time speed on Earth... exactly the main concept as in Stellaris). Maybe I'll write more about this ... what do you say ... do you find it interesting too? Do you like Hard SF? >D

@szbarnaus

In today's #TBT let's just fly back to 2013 ... October was very much the same: sunny, breezy but as the Sun went down, the cold showed it teeth... but I was on the train (similar impromptu travel as in the Portugal Story> https://noise.cash/post/lm3ggrpk ) I slept on the train, but the grey morning and cool weather was meh... anyways, I learned the first lesson> be positive... and as I used to Noise to you all the time: smile, because the SUN is always shining, even if it's behind the clouds. So I landed in Thessaloniki (beautiful City as I scanned in the rush, need to go back!) Hop on a bus and head to Kavala, to catch the ferry. But... not so fast... adventure is coming, more specifically: adventurous Greek Theather> As we were standing on the right station, between two buses, one of them seemed (based on the number) the right one for me ... two bus drivers came and they started in a quarrel, shouting to each other, showing some papers, showing some directions. In the meantime, one of them started to take the passengers bags out from the bus shouting to the other ... after some question and answer (all body language for me, cause I don't speak greek ...) they disappeared ... for office, maybe ... came back, still shouting, and packing back the luggages. This gone for 40 minutes ... and I started to worry, because I knew that as soon as I arrive at destination, the last ferry of the day will leave in 30 minutes... so they shake hands and big smiles, hugs even... everything was settled, just as we started 50 min later... I doubt I'll catch the ferry. Long story short, second lesson: just relax... there will be some solution (with extra cost of course, because I needed to rent a room in a nearby hotel but... what can we do, right? :D) Oh, So sweet you're sorry for me, but I had company that night... so ... morning, leaving, Ferry, greek coffee and Thassos Island. A beauty and strange island where the time is slower than anywhere. Almost nobody on the streets, just the local people... the project was great but the freetime and adventures even better. Maybe I'll write about this in details, but I don't want to bore you with these... I'll send some Noisecard: and ... just briefly, the usual, boring stuff: ... great scenes, exploring, cozy small places, excellent dishes, calm sea, a girl appears, chit-chat, laughs, walk on the beach at midnight, sitting in a pub and suddenly there was a wedding crowd around me (just came from a yacht), wedding... I didn't want to, but I had to ... the sun is already up... "no, I don't want that scotch, thank you... my plane is leaving" ... shoot... "I have to pack, we're leaving in 20 minutes!" .... run, splash of water, "where is my Waatch" ... what the Ff... oh, here it is... ok .. phew ... down to the lobby, dizzy but ready ... bus ... " I'll drink a coffee on the ferry " ... ... but it was lovely :D Did you were in Thassos ?

.. hoohooo! ... ____ you're in @szbarnaus' #Halloweek Special ______ ... so smile, because this is a PlotTwist! The year is 1988 October... I talked to you, sometimes I tried to wake you up, but you didn't heard me, didn't saw me. So here is my riddle, answer the questions carefully: 1. What costume I'm wearing? 2. What will happen in 3 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds? 3. Who am I? ____________________________________________________________________ Dream now ... Tomorrow! ...

@szbarnaus

Hello, Yellow, hello! After I started answering and Noising about the comments you gave me on that lazy Tuesday (https://noise.cash/post/1j00x5vw) I realised this is quite FUN... but it can be challenging as well (because the limited time). Last time we made a Noise-ChitChat about our favourite TEEN (awkward!) Music... so check that out (here> https://noise.cash/post/lg3j3vzp ). So today, I'm gonna focus to @frenchtoast78 's comment. She suggested the favourite colour... YELLOW as the choice of her as a favourite. I thought about this because although I spot some warm spot, yellow is not my favourite... and I rather miss the colour in my photos as well. Not to mention my clothes... But I do remember quite vividly, that my very first watch when I was 6 years old (I love watches, you'll know too if you'll hang around) was a super-yellow, almost neon, vibrant clean, yellow digital SportWatch. It was fun, unique and I wear that with pride all day, years... up until I was 12 ... so I had yellow accessories! BTW I love all colours, but if I have to choose one, is Blue - absolute favourite (I'm not shy) the Ultramarine. OK, now comes the FUN part: I looked at my photos, looks like I didn't really catch the yellow colours (in October is obvious) but I searched for some so here is an October shot and paired with one yellow accent from Summer, Spring... I hope you enjoy it! Thank you again @frenchtoast78 for the inspiration and speaking about music and mood... let's Yellow up this Noise (not the obvious Beatles-Yellow Submarine hymn ... actually that one is great too) all this with a smoothing, relaxing evening sound (Coldplay's stylish poetry> https://youtu.be/yKNxeF4KMsY) for a warm Chin-Chin(with ice) and tell me, what is your favourite colour?! I might challenge myself to make such colour theme photograph Noise-collection. What do you say? Now... Dream with a yellow submarine or a yellow little duck in a hot bathtub!

Tuesday is a hit or miss in my opinion. After the boost of Moonday, sometimes I become lazy (because the boring stuff) ... as I mentioned earlier ( https://noise.cash/post/1j00x5vw ) But today, as I woke up and shot down my alarm ... I saw the notifications, which are not annoying at all! (Super thank you!) I never woke up to this... so Lazy Tuesday became Turbo Tuesday. Why twisted, you ask? I don't know yet, but why don't you suggest something in the comments? In the meantime, I'm coming back with the next Noise, based on your comments to that old one I've just mentioned above. The break is over, now let's go to a potential client! For you, Noiser: let's TurboCharge this day to be the best Tuesday ever!

@szbarnaus

Today it's Moonday, but everything today seems to be a setup for failure. In fact, if we just look at obstacles in this way (like an excuse) ... even the most useful thing can become a thing ... that holds you back from achieving your goal. But no time for rest... not when we are in the starting line, right? If the day is shorter ... think about that you'll have more cozy time. So be more productive, to arrive home before dark. If the wether is cold, no time to sit down.... except, when you are at your desk and make a cool Noise! I hope you started a great week today... final week in this month ... and thank you for your comments and good Noises... up until now I made my daily Noises... so no stop for now! Come on, let's boos our strength right now, right here> What "obstacle" you smashed today in order to step forward to your goals? Now... let's have a sweeter Noiser, Winner dream! >D

@szbarnaus

I worked this afternoon... summed up some project for a client, so it's ready. That means, Monday morning will be free. In other words ... today was a Sunny Day ... golden leafs were floating in the wind, dancing with the sunshine. Some of birds tried to catch them, but laughed at the joke, and dashed up and down flying and had some speed sunbath in the heavenly light. I mean... that is how I saw SUNday as I looked out of my window (opened for warm, fresh air) and recharged for the Next Week. OH Sunday Sound ... that's right! It was this time of the year ... same day, different flat, but same SUNNY DAY ... and I stumble upon this piece of music. So sit down, grab this... chinChin and listen to this : https://youtu.be/9y0jG8sp4ys I wish you a great New Week! >D

@szbarnaus

Saturdays are often the lazy days for me. (OH, you mean this one? https://noise.cash/post/1j00x5vw No, this Noise still would like to receives some ideas, but Saturday is the absolute lazy day). In the morning I work a little, usually fill up the empty time slots... but till the afternoon, evening.. I become tired. So Saturday Rest is on the Schedule. What about you? Are you planning your Saturday evenings? Do you have a special program or just take some rest, and you prepare for a long rest. I, for sure, I won't set my alarm for tomorrow... just keep my time in Dreamland. Sweet dreams Lander, and have another Weekend Day spent as you wish! All the best and recharging rest!

@szbarnaus

This is a Friday, when I simply don't have TIME to write a proper SciFi plot, not even to remember a great writer, to read something. The weekend is fully packed, but I'll find Time to Noise... Time as a base tool for great SciFi is a stunning idea, but also a hard one. We don't fully understand, we can't control it, but we feel the quality, the use and the impression of it. That is why is a great playground for Science Fiction as well. Although next weekend will be the best time to rewatch the movie In Time (and I will) - because on the 1st November will be the 10th year of it's premier, but I'll watch this weekend, and hopefully I'll come with a longer article about the main idea. Time in the story is used as money... and the currency in a future society. The amount of Time everybody have from her/his life. Interesting concept and I'm curious if you see the same connection with crypto currencies ... because the time based value of a coin is much more visible than in the (also time based value) case of fiat money. Have you seen the movie? Did you enjoyed it? Are you watching as well this or next weekend? All the best for weekend, Noisers! #ScienceFiction

@szbarnaus

Tough day, quite stuffed... but this doesn't stop me to Noise so... In today's #TBT come and join me a waaay back. 15 years back! When in Rome ... Exactly on this day in 2006 (the whole week actually) it was my first time to visit Rome! There is the saying, that every road leads to Rome... well it is true! I love that city! Lot of layers and monuments from the early period of Ancient Rome, the stunning renaissance, baroque... the classical elegance... and some jazzy trattoria and coffee spots on the majestic streets. Buildings full with sculptures and sculptures ... no wonders I returned and I'm open to return whenever is possible. Whoever loves art... it's a must! >D It was way before the smartphone camera era ... so there were quite a lot of places where photo or video or both was forbidden, or at least you needed an extra ticket to make snap some memory ...(especially in museums). And today I'm not really making photos about the obvious ... but back than, I snapped my own postcard material >D I'll write a much detailed report if you are interested, but for now, I'll share you a couple of memories from my first visit: 2006 October 21th! Did you visited Rome? Did you liked it? Should I make a 2nd Part of this or any other TBT? Until than... Take care! >D

@szbarnaus

Here comes the part, where I suggest to check out my Noise in the middle of the week, celebrating being a Noisey Champ on a Autumn Humpday. OK, here it is: https://noise.cash/post/142nkgq7 and the what is more interesting, than the absolute empty text in my Noise, is that I missed some real great comments. So I'm gonna thank you for @frenchtoast78 and @XRayMan for keeping me motivated on the 20th Noise in October and because of this ... I didn't slowed down. I'm not proud of this sprint, because I'm still far from being consistent... but I'm not gonna stop now, so I'll keep Noisin' Speaking about consistency... I think the promise for ourselves, the dedication to our craft is the most important step towards to success. (I'm thinking here, catching ideas flying like butterflies, so HEY! don't hold back your comments! Thank you! ) There always something which tries to sabotage your plan, there is always room for improvement, to think one more time before you post something... and yes, a little bit of stress because (at least, in my case) I know that I didn't invested enough time into this Noise... and maybe it's a miss.... but it's much better to receive comments and improve your next step, than just think about the perfect Noise for half a year, and not doing it at all ... like I presented this (but only for educational purposes, illustrating the negative effects of being passive in the active world .... khm*... ) *NOTE: BuLLSh1t- I was lazy //// that's the short version! Simple is that. And I wrote a Noise about it... but I don't link it here, instead jump in the first question answered ... Noisin and humming about our teen Music Memories here> https://noise.cash/post/lg3j3vzp Pretty cool School party took shape there... so, hop in, don't be shy! So... I hope your week is filled with Sunny Lights, Bright Yellow Golden Leafs (yeah, I'll show the photos soon...) and with a great smile on your glowing face, HOP the HUMP and POP the PUMP to make this week even more profitable and productive until it ends. All the best Noises until it's snoozes! KnightNight! >D
