I was enjoying today's Noises, the chat and comments about productivity, the proper way of using the moment for the better, and it that is the case ... turning obstacles into opportunities. (If you'd like, share some thoughts with us here> https://noise.cash/post/lrpmq7j9 ). That said... I often reflect on what just happened today, this week, a period... It's important to know you're on the right track in order to keep forward. As one example and method ... I do this by asking questions (similar as I Noised here> https://noise.cash/post/15k29zpm ). Also I use to check the checkmarks at the end of the day. Did I checked all my planned tasks? Can I do more ... but a lot of time I have some empty spots ... without the satisfying X-es. Why did I failed on that spot? Did I overload my day with tasks? Or I wasn't productive enough ... or I simply lost time (again). Why did this happened. So, these are the simple, but powerful questions that can push us forward ... but more importantly keep us on the right track. If we invest some time into these reflections, reviewing ... analysing every day and HIGHLIGHTing our steps (and missteps ) towards our goal ... we can improve our habits and balance enormously. One thing I learned quite hard (I didn't wanted to accept) is that we need to take small steps. Just one at a time. One task at a time, one X at a time. Even by this pace I leave empty ticks at the end of the day. So if I see that, I'll put on the next day's priority, or it might indicate that it isn't important really... And I'll check these progress weekly. How do you review your progress, what signs, diary, app do you use in order to KNOW your productivity, development, process ... what is important to you? BTW I started to leave out the X-s instead I make rectangles and I colour them as I finish the task, half if I'm just halfway .... The big black/blue boxes are more satisfying than the X-s at the moment :D I hope you had a great day ... let's have a stunning, relaxing Dream. X marks the spot, good night for now! >D #KNOWember
