This question has been asked over and over in my lectures "what to write on a blog and how to start a blog?" So I thought of answering this question by writing a blog. I may sound sarcastic, but by blogging you can spread knowledge and reach the mass knowledge hunter. I realized that blogging is like writing a diary or a personal diary that can be read by anyone around the world.
If someone follows some basic steps, you can write a blog
1- Planning
2- Create a catchy Tag line
3- start writing around the topic
4- Use plugins to improve your blog
5- final touch
1- Planning Phase
Many newcomers hurry to skip the planning phase to start writing, it's like taking a test without any preparation. Choosing a topic for writing is the most important part, I've seen people change or change topics among them, this happens when you start in a rush without any basis. By choosing the right one, you can avoid unnecessary jumps. It can save you time, energy and most importantly your motivation.
I suggest you pick the common subject so people can relate to it. At least they will have an idea about your blog. The real reader will appreciate / Criticize / comment, expert will guide / direct / motivate. Either way, you will come out as a winner.
Once you've chosen the topic, create an outline around it. Define your environment, limit yourself to this topic. Once you've created the outline by dividing the topic into pieces, achieve each piece as if you have reached a milestone. Current facts on the subject in question can be researched and checked.
It is good to have all the information before you start writing the first word. It helps the author in the long run.
2- Create a catchy slogan
If you have watched any news channel or any broadcaster's pop-up message on your mobile, you will understand what to do at this stage. When you create a more attractive and informative “Headline”, you cannot resist without reading the blog / article. It's all about your inputs and how your readers rate it. If you are offering something new to people in general, they will recognize your thoughts / opinions.
3- don't start finishing
I'm not talking about professionals or people who can write episodes in one sitting. If you are new to writing or blogging, keep your horses and start with some paragraphs each day. Do not rush to finish the article / blog in one day. To achieve better output / content, it is necessary to follow the Write-Read-Rewrite process. As we watched in corporate email, "read before clicking send". You can change the sentence formation and grammar while reading your own articles. At this stage, you actually put your thoughts on paper. Think of it as a canvas you need to paint to create a masterpiece, and a masterpiece takes more time than a normal building.
4- Use plugins to improve your blog
After you've completed the basics about your blog, it's time to increase its credibility. To do this, some professional images can be added to the blog, added humor, or a complex topic explained in simple words. When using images, use self-explanatory images. Images should add value to your article, not an extra baggage. Humor and complex topics are sometimes delicate, so be mindful of people's feelings and values if you plan to use this type of content on blogs.
5- final touch
This is the final stage and you are just a few steps away from publishing your blog / article. I recommend checking your entire blog with images and all other placements. If you are not satisfied, feel free to shorten the article. It should flow like a smooth story. If possible, get a second opinion on this. Check the font, style, size and color you use in your post. When you feel positive about this, you're ready to click on the post.
