AIRPORT ALERT. The Plane Lost in Time -English Version-

Surely, you have ever paid attention to stories about people who claim not to know what happened in a period in their life.

A phenomenon closely related to alien abductions, where the victims report having lost time of minutes, and even hours.

Many of these documented experiences seem to have their beginning in unusual atmospheric phenomena, which for some reason affect certain people.

More than 40 years have passed since that mysterious event that remains unexplained, a strange event starring an aircraft, from the defunct Spanish airline Aviaco.

Flight 502 of January 31, 1978, was commanded by an experienced pilot, its route traced a good time between the city of Valencia and the Sondika airport in Bilbao, located in the north of the Iberian Peninsula.

It was a calm flight, and without news, —or at least, until approaching Bilbao—, when the commander of the aircraft alerted the control tower about the visualization of a thick blanket of clouds a kilometer high.

The experience lived by the plane would become part of one of the greatest mysteries of Spanish aviation. When there were only a few minutes to land on the approach maneuver to the airport, the weather strangely began to change, a cluster of dense clouds positioned itself in the path of the airplane, making landing maneuvers difficult, given the peculiar characteristics of that airport.

Motivated by the strong winds that destabilize the weather conditions, the radio operator on duty at the control tower instructed the pilot to abort the approach maneuver, ordering him to change the route of the plane to go to the alternate airport of Santander, at about 100 kilometers of distance.

The pilot immediately took the precautions of the case and adjusted the destination course of that Caravelle 10R model aircraft to that indicated by the air traffic controller, with which, as planned, they would be landing in approximately 15 minutes.

However, something unexpected and mysterious would mark the fate of the already stumbled flight, a fact so unimaginable that it would be remembered in the memory of the passengers and the crew until the end of their days.

Before arriving at the airport alternating, a mysterious cloud began to form with gigantic proportions quickly right in front of the nose of the plane, it was shaped like a saucer, it is known in meteorological terms, like a lenticular cloud.

The cloud gave off a very bright and resplendent light that illuminated everything, reducing the visibility of both pilots to 0, there was no time to apply any maneuver, there was no alternative but to cross the cloud accumulation, the plane abruptly descended 1200 feet which activated all command control alarms in the cabin.

The pilots, unable to pinpoint where they were flying, were stunned, desperately trying to keep the plane in the air. They managed to switch the aircraft to manual mode, with which they managed to regain control stabilizing the flight, but still without knowing exactly where they were.

Both the passengers and the crew were very scared, deafening screams of despair could be heard inside the passenger cabin, after the abrupt change in altitude nothing could be seen through the windows, the clouds were completely cut, with that incandescent brightness any possibility of location.

The experienced crew had never witnessed anything like it in their more than 20 years of service, the shocking circumstances were just a door opening to terror. 

After a few seconds, all the electronic instruments of the plane will turn off completely, as if the aircraft had received the impact of electromagnetism or something similar, the radio communications stopped abruptly, and the radio beacon of the device no longer emitted any signal.

After incessant attempts by the pilots, to reestablish communications, they only managed to hear a deafening screech, -like when a microphone approaches a bugle-.

The aircraft's control panel began to warn that they were in a contradictory direction, that is, that they were flying in a direction opposite to what they should be according to the fixed flight plan.

The electronic and manual compasses did not work, the horizon indicator on the instrument panel showed that the airplane was upside down, this situation remained unchanged for 7 exasperating minutes.

After those terrifying and endless 7 minutes, the mysterious cloud completely vanished, and everything immediately returned to normal.

All the electronic instruments of the plane returned to their normal parameters except for the tachymeter, which inexplicably had not changed since the moment they were introduced into the cloud.

It was as if the airplane had been suspended without moving for 7 minutes, something inexplicable.

Minutes later that Caravelle 10R model plane manages to land without problems at the Santander airport, to start the report of that amazing event.

But beyond the maddening and disturbing experience that occurred inside the aircraft. A strange detail makes this incident a true mystery to this day.

The aeronautical investigators quickly specified that the last section of the flight lasted 32 minutes, which would show a difference of 17 minutes more than what was foreseen in the flight plan to the alternate airport.

A rational explanation could never be concluded about where the plane had been in those lost minutes.

Researchers of the paranormal hallucinated with the theory that that mysterious cloud was a kind of space-time portal, which when crossing it caused the plane to slow down.

Another scientific explanation, more accepted until today, is based on the theory that the plane had entered a kind of static electric energy charge, but with which the missing time difference is not explained.
