How to be lazy

Being lazy means having the will of not doing any work, tasks, literally anything. Productivity is overrated. It's time for a change. And I will help how to do it, let's be lazy together.👊

5 Steps on Laziness:

1. Do not sit straight, SLOUCH.

  • As you may notice, lazy people often do this all day. Half of their body is sitting down, the other half is laid. Once you get yourself in a slouch position, you'll suddenly feel drained with energy and unmotivated to anything besides scrolling through your cellphone. This is the first step on your laziness journey 🤓.

  • Doctors and physicians says that slouching ruins one's body posture, but do lazy people even care about that? Probably not. Get yourself in a slouching position now, don't sit up properly.

2. Delay your works, do it tomorrow

  • Finishing your workloads today is so common. Try something new! Delay it so you have something to do tomorrow, or the next day, or the next decades. If you can, don't even do it. Just breath and live. You've got no worries, just be lazy and do nothing.

  • Laziness starts with procrastination. Yes, once you delay your works, you'll eventually will have no energy to even do it the other day around. Laziness will bring you success.

3. Don't do anything productive all day.

  • This one is quite similar with the second step, the only difference is that... nothing. They're actually the same 🤡. So let's move on to the next one

4. Go get your phone and entertain yourself with that through out the day.

  • Lazy people often use most of their time scrolling through social media, watching videos and stuff, anything that is unrecreational. Doing this, you will not be productive so this is an exception for the two similar steps given above. Just chill out and don't stress yourself.

5. Neglect your responsibilities

  • By doing nothing, you neglect your responsibilities. And by responsibilities, I mean all of it. May it be your responsibility at home, at school, work, family, anything. Don't mind those responsibilities you can do it later.

At this point, we've tackled about the fist basic 5 steps on how to be lazy. And we've got lots of stuff to tackle about it. This is just the beginning. You can be a lot more lazy.

Note: This article is not to be taken seriously. It is some kind of reverse psychology for people whose unconsciously being lazy.

Being a lazy person, does not do any good to anyone. Even the bible says:

Proverbs 13:4 - The lazy person has his cravings, yet he has nothing, But the diligent one will be fully satisfied

In my case, I am a workaholic type of person. I tend to focus at my academics and pressure myself to the point where that's all I think of. I've got no time even for myself. I barely knew myself. So there comes a time that I jist suddenly got tired of it. I felt like anything I do or put my efforts on doesn't pay off. And there comes the day where I just literally did nothing productive all day. In the morning slept to much, then after waking up I watched some series, eat junk foods, slouch all day. I didn't even helped with making the dish for the day, do some chores, and even my schoolworks.

I'm telling you, It does not feel good. I kept thinking of the things I didn't got to do, specially the responsibilities I got. You can't expect to gain something by being lazy.

So what I'm trying to say here is that, don't be lazy nor be workaholic. Learn to balance everything. Have a balance perspective and your life will be balanced as well.
