Tongariro crossing, MT DOOM Lord of the rings fans - mt doom! Mt Ngauruhoe is a 2,300m active volcano and a major landmark of the tongariro alpine crossing. It’s a sight to behold! This picture doesn’t really do it justice, but the colours are unreal! I’ve posted a few of Mt Ngauruhoe in the winter, so here it is in summer!:)
