Mt Ngauruhoe (MT DOOM), NZ Active volcano! Mt doom (lord of the rings) at 2300m high, it’s a big one! It’s most impressive as it has only a few neighbouring mountains (see next post ;) ). It’s home of the famous Tongariro crossing which is largely regarded as the best/one of the best day hikes in the world! I can confirm it’s awesome! This weeks theme is mountains and geothermal wonderlands :) next week is water!:)
