Geothermal wonderlands! 👽 🪐 Welcome to my new weekly theme of ‘geothermal wonderlands’! I’ll be posting some pictures of the beautiful and unique colours and landscapes that the geothermal regions of the north island in New Zealand have to offer :) This will all be from the Rotorua/Taupō region which is the hub of geothermal activity! These areas always remind me of an alien planet as they look so different to normal earth! It’s very unique and the different minerals and high temperatures form a staggering landscape :) the silica terraces are amazing! So, I hope you all enjoy there pictures I have to share :) I have Shared a few geothermal pics here before, and some unique water shots which is super impressive too! It’s time to dedicate a week to this :) The following week will Probably be ‘sunsets’ :) peace and love

Colorful geothermal landscape 😍 i love it chur!
This place looks really unique. We have a similar lake in Pakistan, called rainbow lake. It was multiple colored water due to the layer of stones underneath
Wow it really looks amazing. Mother earyh has so much to offer we just have to use these resources sustainably and not abuse it.
I can never believe that this place is actually on earth. Sometimes some places here often seems like from another planet. Mother nature really works wonders.
