Hooker Lake and Mt Cook (Aoraki) New Zealand’s tallest mountain! 3,800m, and this lake was at 2 degrees C! Glacial melt right from the surrounding glaciers, gives it that grey colour as fine particles of rock are mixed in. You can see a few icebergs floating :) this was an amazing hike!:) The theme is mountains for this week! Next week is geothermal wonderlands Then, water, then greenery!
