The Goblin Forest! Part 1 Deep in the volcanic grounds of Mt Taranaki lives the goblin forest! This unique landscape exists under special conditions... it survived a major volcanic eruption 🌋 and now thrives! The volcanic ash/soil led to all of the green moss and lichen to grow all over the trees, which were so ancient most of them survived. So here is the unique nature of this forest! It was so cool to roam through and is my favourite forest here in NZ!:) This will be in 3 parts as I have extra photos to share :) it’s now just past the halfway point for my weekly theme of ‘greenery’!
