The 5 layers of Mt Taranaki 🌋 New Zealand (click to see) To end my Goblin Forest posts, I want to share how unique and magical this place really is. There are 5 distinct layers to this volcano can you make them out? They layers change very abruptly with altitude. The first light green is bush, the second dark green in the goblin forest, the third mid green is bush/moss, the 4th is the scree and 5th is the pure black Taranaki rock!:) I have climbed to the summit of this, and it’s probably my greatest achievement to date :) was a real challenge! wow! climbing this must have been an adventure of a lifetime sir. Mt. climbing needs special skills. It is good to really test your limits sometimes. I really admire those people who really does what they want and passionate about. Thank you for sharing your experiences on this Mountain. Each picture really has a tale to tell.👍
