A before and after story
“Open your eyes and don’t be stupid”
Before du30 pasig river and manila bay was very polluted. It was a sea of trash. Not a single woke millennial and major media outlet bat and eye. Kudos to all the previous presidents and denr officials who did nothing.
But now, after du30 and all the volunteers and government agencies had a cleanup drive and rehabilitated manila bay and pasig river. Suddenly everyone became an environmental expert as if they care.
Abs-cbn reported about an invasive species. Well because the native species of the bay and river was plastic / rubber / manure thats why. Like wtf, some even go as low as plating a fresh water fish into a salt water bay just to fool gullible Filipinos. 🤦🏻♂️
Mainstream Media / woke millennials / environmentalist are against the beautification of manila bay. Where were they 4-5 year ago?
Moral of the story:
Some people will always have something negative to say. Even if your intention is pure and true they will always find a way to discredit true progress not just economical but also environmental progress.
Just appreciate positive change while it last. And hopefully the next administration would be as good or even better no matter who it is.
