Self-Proclaimed "Influencers"

0 56

If you have ever been to TikTok, Facebook or YouTube, you are probably aware of what an Influencer is. To be honest, it's not that big of a deal to talk about however, with the much ongoing battle on who's famous or who has more views and likes than someone, it's something disturbing.

I'm not going to mention any names. If you think of someone while reading this, it's up to you.

First of all, the internet is for everyone. We might have apps or sites where kids are not allowed, we still can see kids in there. Kids aged 12 and below are much clever as we think they are. The point here is that since they are still "kids", whatever they see on videos they watch, they can or will try it. And even though, there are proper guidance of the parents or guardians on them, they might still do something terrible.

These self-proclaimed influencers are really growing on me.

First and foremost, when you know that it's already a bad thing, why would you do it? You are an influencer, you are internet star and people can see you anywhere in the world. You might think that somehow I need to review over and over again my videos before I post them on social media because I don't want to be in a scandal. But the thing is even though, they think that it's wrong, they still post it. Why? Because when they are in the spotlight of talk, there is money. Looks like everything is about money now.

Second, if it happens that people are criticizing you about something you did, apologize and apologize truthfully. I really don't get the YouTube videos that are for apology sense but has ads. People are not going to take you seriously when you do that. Obviously, you did what you did because you want to make money. And it doesn't appear to be an apology video. Just another video to be posted because you want your "supporters" to be updated.

Lastly, think about your dignity. For once, stop talking about money and money for the rest of the day. The point of you being in social media ang getting watched by hundreds and thousands of people is because you want them to be entertained and of course, it's your "job" where you will earn. However, you are building a reputation. How come it's "okay" if your reputation is disgusting?

Get everything right before it's too late.
