Jackfruit, locally called "Kathal" in Bengali "কাঁঠাল"; one of my favorite fruit, this is also National fruits of Bangladesh. It's a summer time fruit and grows everywhere in Bangladesh. Especially, jackfruit grows very well in three places in Bangladesh like: Savar (Dhaka), Gazipur and Bhaluka (Mymensingh).
