Start avoiding hair products that are high in petrochemicals and dyes. Petrochemicals are ingredients you may not be familiar with on the ingredient labels - propylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, methyl parabens, ethyl parabens, propyl parabens, butyl parabens, and FD&C dyes.

Causes of hair loss:

Stress:

Stress plays an important role in many diseases. This may be the main reason why you may experience hair loss. For many years I was under a lot of pressure from my new job. During the first 3 months, I experience more hair loss on the top of my head.

When your hair falls out due to stress, you can fix it immediately. First check your high stress level and start reducing it. After that, start your diet with a good hair loss supplement.

Avoid:

What you eat eats your body. Your body type depends on your diet. If you do not provide enough nutrients to your body, you will not get enough nutrients to grow your hair and stay healthy. Your hair is the last of the nutrients your body provides. One way to improve your diet is to eat more fruit in the morning and more vegetables at lunch and dinner. You may want to consider natural remedies for hair loss.

For women, the formation of DHT is not a major activity until menopause. Before menopause, estrogen inhibits the formation of DHT. When estrogen is depleted after menopause, DHT begins to form, leading to hair loss in women.

There are now shampoos that help clear DHT from scalp and hair follicles. Use them to prevent hair loss and to restore some of the hair follicles that are still alive.

There are some pills that prevent the formation of DHT in the blood, but I do not recommend them because it is not known what the long term effects of this blocking are.

Hair loss is a daily occurrence and the truth is that we lose between 100 and 125 hairs on any given day. Falling hair falls out at the end of the growth cycle. At any given time, 10% of our hair is called the "resting phase" and after resting for 2 to 3 months, the hair falls out and is replaced by new hair.

Hormones play an important role in talking about androgenic alopecia. Testosterone can be converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) with the help of enzyme 5-alpha reeducates. DHT shrinks hair follicles, causing thickening of the scalp membranes, instability and restricting blood flow. This causes hair follicles to become atrophic. As a result, when the hair falls out, it is not replaced.

Emotional stress, pregnancy, or even surgery can cause our hair to fall out and is usually not felt until 3-4 months after the stress event. Stress can slow down the growth of new hair because a large number of hair follicles enter the resting stage and new hair growth is not experienced.

Another way that people experience hair loss is due to mechanical stress on the hair and scalp. Wearing a pugtail, cornro or narrow roller after pulling the hair can cause scars on the scalp and permanent damage to the hair. Hair products such as hot oil treatments and chemicals that are used regularly can cause swelling in the hair follicles, which can lead to blemishes and hair loss.

Some important point of this article:

Drug-oriented approach for those who do not mind taking strong drugs.

A commercial product approach for those who prefer a non-drug solution but still want a treatment that has a track record.

Natural remedies for people who like to walk the natural path.

Nutritional approach for those who want to adopt a more comprehensive approach.

It is a fact that only two treatments for hair loss have been approved by the FDA and both can be classified as over-the-counter medications. Propecia (finasteride) is the treatment of choice for many men for good reason - it works! It is a powerful drug that inhibits the formation of DHT in the system, ultimately to a level that is low enough to trigger a normal growth cycle. Rogaine (minoxidil) works in different ways that it accelerates hair growth in both men and women by eliminating the existing symptoms of hair loss. These drugs can be used individually or in combination.

The world of commercial hair loss products is less clear and this is where many fraudsters do their business to rip off unexpected customers. The best advice I can give here is research, research and more research! There are many useful products available in the market but none of them have been approved by the FDA.

Increasingly, people are turning to natural remedies for hair loss as they try to fight thinning hair. This is a clear appeal to many patients and there is growing evidence to support the idea that some natural remedies may be effective in reducing hair loss. The most popular ingredients in the natural treatment of hair loss include blueberries, green tea, hey show woo, pajamas, Sri Palmetto and stinging nutmeg. Each of these is described in more detail in an additional article entitled "Herbal Remedies That Provide Hope."

It is becoming increasingly clear that poor nutrition and modern lifestyles can have negative health effects, and hair loss is no exception. At the most basic level, better nutrition can reduce flow and help with other treatments that encourage re-growth.

For some people, hair loss can be an early warning sign of a more serious condition, such as lupus or diabetes, so it is important to talk to your doctor. If you or someone you know suffers from hair loss, here are some alternative health ideas that can help naturally.
